That was it. the account used to run the job had expired. if you open up the job and select the security tab.

Absolutely

No, it's not in Orion NPM. I think LANsurveyor is what you're looking for.

Let me complement the anwser. I contract the Microsoft Azure and install ONPM, DPA, SAM, Web Help Desk, Patch Manager. My technical team told me that had problem to install VMAN on this envoirnemt. Someone had this problema? And How it was fixed?
-
Unfortunately, that can't be done at this time. You could use custom properties and filter out the offending interfaces.

Is there any way to have an altert trigger a warning status on a node. If not, is there a plan to code one in? You could use an alert to trigger a SQL script that would change status, but I think it would be difficult. We have had this request before.
-
Also, I have deleted the condition InterfaceName is equal to. Here is what I am seeing as an issue. Please correct me if I am wrong. When you specify a Custom Property it asks for these 4 conditions: True, False, 0, or 1. When you specify the data you are looking for in the custom property, for example: VPN_Primary, it…

I had that in there so it knew it was looking for an interface. Does the condition querying for the custom interface cover that? Thank you for taking the time to answer me. I really do appreciate that. I will try deleting that line and see if it will trigger the alert.

How would I set that up? The user is on my Hosting team and wants to Orion to give him a view of traffic for the clustered interface and not the traffic for the entire NIC. I don't know if we can pull it out like that. you can do this just use the MS TCP interface when you set up the virtual IP. Then all traffic for that…

Yup- it's under "Additional Components" for Cirrus. I think it comes with a resource file and instructions to make a few minor changes to the settings on the website.

We don't have a specific date for the service pack. It won't be long, but we want to include any issues that show up once everyone installs the GA version.

Going to wait until after I upgrade everything. Upgrading all SW OS's to 2016 first, then will do latest version upgrade. If problem persists, then I will open a ticket. Was looking to see if anyone had a solution in the interim Thanks!

looks like your statistics are set to collect something like every 10 minutes, while your chart shows your sampling every 5 minutes, so every second sample there is no collection, your sample rate must be the same or greater than your collection rate, never less or you'll see gaps.
-
danbran, which answer are you trying to mark as helpful?

Volumes will be a standard part of discovery as of the next release.
-
Thanks. I'll troubleshoot some more and see what it the actual problem. Tom

I am looking into this too. About half my interfaces show negative numbers in the %Optimized Packets and in % Optimized Bytes. Perhaps i am doing it wrong though. Should I be taking the InterfaceID of Wan0_0 and putting that in the OptimizedInterfaceID of Lan0_0? Or should these interface InterfaceID's be the InterfaceID…

We have a design and concrete plan, and we hope to deliver it in the release after 9.5.
-
Awesome!
-
Exactly. You're in luck. We already do it. Using the Account Limitation Builder Before you can use the Account Limitation Builder, you must have first created the custom property that you want to use to limit the Orion Network Performance Monitor Web Console view. For more information, see “Creating Custom Properties”.…

I hope this isn't off-topic. Please forgive, if so. I have this supposed SNMP field called "Hardware" that is being populated from.....where? Please see my screencap. It is not in my Custom Properties, and I've exported the MIBs and it is NOT in there. I also checked the 'Nodes' table in the db and it's not there either.…

Tomas, there are others that would like to know the answer to Karl's question as well. Please post the response so we all know the answer to the mystery. Thanks.

Hi Is it not possible to Tuncate interface types, as it helps with the views , so that if you have long interface alias configured they do not spread over 2 lines. Example GigabitEthernet4/9 = Gi4/9 FastEthernet1/1 = Fe1/1 Port-channel10 = Pc10 Serial2/1 = Se2/1 Kind Regards James

The caption is only calculated when the interface is polled for the first time, and never changes afterwards. This is by design, so user can edit the caption and it's not overwritten by following polls.DaP This is not strictly true - if you clear the interface caption it will be overwritten with the current caption. Just…

You can import nodes in bulk, but giving them other names is not possible. We'll consider it for a future release.

Sorry I didn't recognize this ealier, but this is a table poller, and we don't support table pollers on Summary Pages. The reason that we didn't initially support summaries of table pollers is that tables on different nodes can have different numbers of rows, which makes the summary hard to interpret.
-
Thank you, I completely forgot about that. Turns out it responds to GET, but not GET NEXT or GET TABLE, but you put me on the right path! Thanks again!
-
OK. I'm reading what you originally asked, and I can see that I mis-understood what you were trying to do. I focused on the monitor disk space and change status part, which APM 2.0 can do. But it can't change status of the node. In 2.0, you can use WMI to monitor disk space. You can set 85% as the threshold, and the…

Another vote for ASA support. We have 100's of remote locations that use their ASA for DHCP purposes.

I am sorry to hear that. Would you mind posting here the case number and keep this thread updated with the progress? I'm sure other users might benefit from this.
