Looks good!

I completely agree with @extrands. I just recently got a hold of this software. I can see its capability and the direction it is heading in and it looks good. It does need to be improved in the sense that some areas aren't finished, or could be improved. I have only been working with this program for about 3-4 weeks and I…

GNS3 looks good, going to set it up and try it for myself!

Jose Beltre, gcp, this current mission is only open to Canada, US, UK and Germany. However, this shouldn't stop you for participating and earning points.

Not sure what I did wrong for Query Blocker. I'm pretty sure I haven't forgotten how to count...

Greetings Gents! First off, thank you donthomas for shedding some light on what we are working on with GNS3. Some of the challenges I have run across is the misconceptions that have been attached to GNS3 over the years. 1. The first misconception is it only emulates Cisco IOS. Answer: That's false. If the Routing and…

I added a THWAK for this as well. Please add this.

ecklerwr1, did it work from home?

I am very glad I got the opportunity to spend time and get to know Lawrence at UK TechEd. He will be missed. My condolences to his family!!!

Not to be negative, but since the AWS Cloudwatch API contains a lot of metrics, why is Solarwinds limiting it down to EC2 and EBS Volumes. For example, I would like to grab my metrics for my AWS Lambda functions. Many of our applications teams use other AWS Services.

billyjbryant, I added the PDF as an attachment to the blog post.

scbdiv, looking into this.

bosco777, dustonsmith, I know what you are hinting at, and I'll have an answer for you by the end of day.
-
I second this. We're using 12.0.3.4010 32-bit, and this happens OFTEN on our clients.
-
Hey guys, Thanks a lot for sharing all these lovely stories! You can expect the points to be added to your accounts by the end of today.
-
network defender, so true. Whenever I need to brighten up my day, I just come to thwack and read comments.
-
Yeah, unfortunately, yesterday was the last day to be able to answer.
-
That's odd. All questions?
-
They're different, for sure. But since you are an active participant for these missions, deja-vus come with the territory.

As promised, the grand prize Playstation 4 Limited edition goes to wthomashefsky. Congrats! I am working on adding the points and badges to your profiles, and once this is done, I will post an announcement here, most probably by the end of this week. Now, stay tuned for our next mission!

Gah... finally got it. I was beginning to think it wasn't do-able. =]

Hi Mark, In the DPA 9.1 version that was released as GA March 10th, we have a way to exclude SQL Statements from trend screens at the 30 day view and the 24 hour view. Give it a look and let me know what you think. Kathy

It's been a long time since I was a Windows system admin, but even 15 years ago it was standard that C: drive was for the Operating System and D: drive was application data. This separation protected the OS from shutting down if an errant application decided to fill a drive up. I've only been an Solarwinds admin for a few…

Hey newkidd2, Points were added last week, on Friday.

This is interesting to know that you are using IP SLA heavily. As you have AT&T involved here , so you need a common SLA benchmark.

We use solarwinds IPAM and have been for quite some time. It's very accurate for the most part, and has replaced almost all of our spreadsheets. The only one that remains is our VLAN / IP Subnet allocation spreadsheet, which I'm not really sure how to put into IPAM. We use it to track what IP spaces are assigned where and…
