So you mean I can't host both SolarWinds, the SQL database, sharepoint, domain controller, and Exchange all on the same server? This brings back horrible memories of a customer who thought it was okay to run multiple SQL instances / databases on a small under powered SQL server.

Unfortunately this eats up component monitors and another way to make you bump your licensing up.

Yes!!!! Want this very badly - not just for SAM but platform-wide. Shouldn't be that difficult in theory.

Very good post. How would one suggest that SAM is deployed accross an environment where data centres are geographically seperated? My primary data center is hosted in the UK with smaller sites in the US and Australia. The US and Australia sites only have up to 100 nodes (max) therefore this may not warrant a full scale EOC…

There's no need to submit the code. You're entered the Grand Prize drawing if you answer all 20 questions.

As promised, points and badges were added to your profile today. Feel free to shoot me a message if you feel you are missing points.

I've only been an Solarwinds admin for a few…

That's a great idea. This would save us a lot of time.

Almost all other SolarWinds products support IPv6, how come there is no support on NTA? We are fully IPv6 enabled and are looking forward to have this feature added as soon as possible.

Just a heads up: I'm closing today's question for a few minutes. I will get back to you with an update shortly.
