Nope - that only suspends polling until a set time whcih means that I would have to do this every day. I need to be able to schedule non-polling for a device between say 6 PM until 7 AM.

Borgan, You should uninstall the additional poller. Re-run the config wizard. You might need to delete the old engine ID manually from the DB. Regarding urgency, I would recommend that you directly call Support for urgent questions. While we (SW) monitor every single post, it's not uncommon for several hours to go by…

Would you mind opening a Support ticket and attaching your diagnostics? We'd like to chase down the issue.

You guys are awesome I will play around with this today and report back.

Present in 10.1.1 also.

Sweet, worked Great! Thank you very much!!!

Hi, I copied the files to the respective locations but I'm having problems. I get the error SQL Open Error: Invalid column name 'access'. So I modified the syslog_who.asp file and removed 4 instances of nodes.access and I still get the error. I also don't see any graph either. Does anyone have any ideas?

Unfortunately, resources can't be easily added between releases.

I actually already had that setting selected. Syslogs come across in paragraph format, where with Snare, they did not. We used the Kiwi daemon on both configurations. This leads me to believe that it is a "feature" of log forwarder.

Bryan, I wish I could attach a screenshot of the issue but can't. I have tested the SSH feature on both Cisco and Linux devices (works from another Orion fine). As I said I can click the button, put in a valid username and password and it just sits there, no timeout, nothing. If I put in a bogus username and password same…

I would like the opportunity to engage on this story: CUCM support as these folks mentioned for 6, 7, 8 which of course is more based on SOAP and AXL. Also, though support for ancillary components like Gateways with the right MIBS/Universal Device Pollers, E911 Server, TFTP server process support....all the main components…

We're done with Beta. We should be releasing soon.

Thank you for the information. It would be great if this issue could be put down as a feature request as telnetting via DNS is very useful. --S

Thanks Mike, That's really helped me as I'm now much closer but I'm still not quite there!! I'm not sure if the bit that says: Copy the following VBscript into the Script Body field in the Orion APM PowerShell Monitor: Should actually say: Copy the following VBscript into the Script Body field in the Orion APM Script…

In the next release, we are adding an option to show your data as a percentage of bandwidth.
-
Sorry, I'm going to need you to open a Support ticket. I don't think we can help you via Thwack. You need a Support tech to help you troubleshoot.

This is really helpful, but how do to tell it that exit code 0 is "good" and exit code != 0 is "bad" ? or does it default to those values? The template had a help file link . I read the help file and it did not discuss the exit code of the script.

You can add custom properties (there are many built-in, just not enabled), but you can't add them via the web interface. Log into the Orion server (i.e. RDP or KVM), and look for the tool called Custom Property Editor (under the Grouping and Access Control shortcut menu by default). For what you're trying to do, you'll…

Thanks man That seemed to do the trick. Cheers

According to our engineering team, it's simply not possible for anyone. And there are no plans to add that feature. If I hear more requests, that could change.
-
No promises, but we'll see what we can do.
-
Would one of you be able to toss out the sql code for this? Thanks, Kevin

We should have a fix for this issue out very shortly.
-
It didn't make the 2.0 cut, but it's going to get in the next release (no date yet).

wluther, Thanks and yes n_site is a customer property i have a couple of them, i will pop them at the bottom. I popped the code and although the table creates but it is still not pulling any data in . I have used UDT to port discover but would of assumed that NCM would do a more detailed interrogation.as I used UDT would…

We have already populated IPAM with all our supernets and some subnets. If we import our Toolset IPDB will IPAM insert each subnet under the corresponding supernet? What happens if IPAM encounters a duplicate subnet on import?

What if we were to expose certain information as an RSS feed? Such as alerts and top 10s. Then you could get the info on any phone with an RSS reader (which is most of them). Thoughts?
