Hi, actually I am already running 3.5 and the behavior is as described. NetFlow Receiver Service [NETFLOW] is receiving a NetFlow data stream from an unmanaged interface on Test-04. The NetFlow data stream will be discarded. Please follow the link build-sles-11 or use the Orion System Manager to add Interface '#65535' in…

Yes. We put it into APM.

Please open a Support ticket. If you can include a MIB Walk with the ticket, that would help.

Okay! I have up and running run queue UnDP poller and alerts works! great! Now question if i have more CPU on box then this number should change right ? for example if i set alert run queue greater than 20 and if i have 8 CPU in my box so in ratio of CPU my run queue is very low for this box. If i have 1 CPU then this…

If we didn't allow you to set the threshhold in the monitor, then you'd have to create differnet alerts for different monitors because the values of the statistics pulled back by each monitor can be radically different. You have to set thresholds somewhere.

I don't think that'll work because account limitations will take the intersection of the various limitations, which in your case is a null set. Try again with one limitation, and it'll work.

We have an ESXi-virtualized Kiwi server with 2 x 2.5 GHz vCPUs and 8 GB of memory allocated to it. On a busy day, this is capturing over 120 million messages (~30 GB) with CPU utilization just under 50%. Not sure of peak message volumes. However * the server is only logging to flat files (max 1 GB each); * forwarding is…

Yes, both 2003 LF servers are on the same subnet as the Syslog host. The 2008 server is on a different/separate subnet but works as expected. Additionally, we have a Cisco ASA and a Ubuntu 12.04.02 Linux system all reporting to the syslog server with no issues. Something is different about 2003.....

The client side cache should not be used. Or are you wanting to prevent the webserver from caching the response on its side? Actually I left a piece of information out of my post since I was in a hurry. We have a proxy server and we would like to force the proxy to request a new page from the webserver and not cache the…

I saw that first thing this morning before I tried to install. After I got my error, I ran the msi. That didn't work either.

i sorted it... when you are in "SQL Server Surface Area Configuration" you have to click the link called change node. in there you have to manually enter the cluster node name, and it will work a treat!! yet to test the database nmove from its current 32bit server on VMware to the new physical sql cluster, but suspect it…

95 percentile is 100% with a dent in the graph that much, that's what I don't trust. I know that issue was nearly 8-10hrs, that should have dropped the percentage some...

Denny can you release an estimated release date?

wanted to add that as of v10.2 you can the limit has been raised to 12,000 per poller just do it in phases and keep an eye on the polling rate on the admin/polling engine page to see how close you are getting to max.

I tried this solution, but the <CustomOIDChart> section is not in the listed file. I am running version 9.0.0 and am wondering if that section is no longer used. Was it replaced?
-
No I have no results specified in that table.

Let me see if I can track down the little query you can decide if you want to use at your own risk.

Thanks for info but why? its using UTC time? any special reason for this?
