If we didn't allow you to set the threshhold in the monitor, then you'd have to create differnet alerts for different monitors because the values of the statistics pulled back by each monitor can be radically different. You have to set thresholds somewhere. 

 I don't think that'll work because account limitations will take the intersection of the various limitations, which in your case is a null set. Try again with one limitation, and it'll work.

Yes, both 2003 LF servers are on the same subnet as the Syslog host. The 2008 server is on a different/separate subnet but works as expected.
