Denny - we're having the same issue. Seems that EOC can talk to NPM just fine, SCOM can't. Systems are on the same subnet without any firewalls/ACL's/restrictions between them. Support just says, must be a firewall problem...

Nothing?

Hey SW User, We fixed the document so now you should be able to edit it. Let me know if you encounter any other issues while doing that. Office Average Availability - Last 30 Days Kind regards, Maria

I hope you didn't use any from here: Web Help Desk Otherwise, you may need to remove, then readd them now that they are compatible with 12.2. I think there's a field in the custom css that can move the specific icon side to side or up and down. I can't remember what line that's in.

Sweet - when do we expect to see APM 2? When Orion 9 comes out? No. Some time later.
-
Cool, thanks Denny... and the second question, about renaming custom properties?
-
Miron, I didn't take your post as a criticism. I just used it as an opportunity to get the message out that we're sensitive to what's going on and are taking measures to improve our release process. Your point is an excellent one. A test lab is an invaluable resource. For a product like Orion, it's worth the time to copy…

SamuelB: You rock! That "fixes" it. Now I'll just need to remember to keep changing it every time there is a update <grin>.
-
Thwack.com: Recent Orion posts In 9.1 we did some work to make sure this resource wouldn't block the whole page from loading if there was a problem contacting Thwack. I'll do a double check on the search functionality to make sure that it doesn't have a similar problem.
-
If I see more requests for this same functionality, we may consider it.
-
We're still looking for steps to reproduce the problem.
-
Those are node polling intervals. This is an APM report. What's the polling interval for the APM components? And what's the time period on the report?
-
Hi radamo@asante.org, Sure, we can still do this. What change would you like to make?
-
I had the same luck with netflow 3.0. I ran the upgrade and it locked up during the install with an = > < error. I got Tech support to send me the fix. I installed the fix and then Netflow said it was not licensed even after it went and finished getting the license from the Solarwinds site. Tech support had me remove the…

Days, not weeks.

Good call Anthony, just wanted to follow up that I'll file a request for our InfoDev team.
-
Yes, that should be fixed by SP4. It should be fairly soon. We had it almost ready and then we discovered a problem with one of the fixes, which delayed things.
-
apm 2 will provide scripts and Orion 9 provides the Universal Device Poller. Between those, you should be able to get whateveryou want?
-
Would a "service" be a collection of APM applications? You would then be able to group applications into a service that you define?
-
Good Lorenzo! From File / Setting / Global Macro Setting I set to No Enable Login and then from File / Change My Device Login Credential I validate with succes the Login Information on a Enterasys devices..but when I try to download configuration I obtain Connectivity issues discarding config file. Device IP: xx-xx-xx-xx

Brandon, Just applied SP2 and am very disappointed in the limited fixes it delivered. It did not fix the sorting of the ip addresses in the IP Networks tree (Beef #1). We manage 9 Class B networks broken down in all sorts of variable bit masks from 19 bit to 30-bit and it is very frustrating to follow the tree structure…

Hi Just looking at my NODEID data in NCM and it does not match the NODEID data in NPM, which I guess maybe is down to the fact that the devices where added into NCM manually and not via an import from NPM, would that be correct ? Is it a good thing to change this, so that both these are consistant and will changing the…
-
Give me a few.... I am looking at a way to pull this from NCM and post back to NPM CP's as that was the original request. We aren't doing that now but I am looking to see how to do that.... almost there.
-
It should work as long as you have the UnDP configured to poll the devices ChassisID. I am not sure if the HP/Juniper devices would report their serial numbers using the same OID as the Cisco but if you built a UnDP to collect the Serial number this should work. To test use this portion of the query to see if you see any…

yes please, i can not wait to get rid of all my SNMP health testing alerts....
-
Salyerma, It looks like you may have found a bug. Could you open a ticket so that we can investigate further? If it's what we think it is, we may have a fix.
-
Has anyone found a solution? I am still experiencing this issue.
-
I hear you! I posted another report question in the reports area, any insight on that?
-
It should. If there are available CPU cycles, the compression could have a decent reduction in I/O pages, and I'm sure you will see a decent increase in free disk space. If the server has multiple disks, you can also control where partitions or entire tables go (multiple files, multiple physical disks).
-
Battlepaw, Can you open a Support ticket? We've seen that bug a couple of times and we're investigating. Gathering your data would help move that process forward.
