Hi, the login page is not a normal form login and uses session numbers and other stuff. We tried the http login form monitor but this was not working. but we will give the MSXML2.XMLHTTP a try. thanks I will keep you updated

Great! Thanks for reply!

Will, I just ran across your post. I just opened a case with Support on the same issue. Did you ever get this issue resolved? I just encountered the same 'Generic failure' error. Also have problem with another DNS server getting 'Provider load failure' trying to add it to IPAM. Both servers are in NPM, UDT and SAM and…

Hi Marie B- Do you know if this can be entered into the DB Manager Query window directly? I've been able to do active read statements there, but I've never attempted a script like this within that little window. Thanks! Mike

Assuming the numbering starts at 1, the variables would look like this: ${vbValue3} ${vbValue6} To produce this: Backup Exec: Application Terminating. The Backup Exec Server Service has stopped.

Doesn't anyone know ?

What I'd do to send to a distribution group is go to Build > Users and create a user that's a "Contact" user (doesn't need to be able to log in) that has the address of your DL. Then, go back to the rule, and select that user as your User to notify. (That list only shows users that are in LEM) The way email templates work…

Thanks so much Mrs. Alterego I'm new to the product and want to learn all I can........this customer forum is great!

I have around 10 diferent customers using NPM, can my vote count as 10? :-)

The other aspect you mentioned in your original post was the firmware that was upgraded. Have you considered reverting?
-
Hi Michal, THanks for the update - that's good news. Just to confirm, at this stage, you're covering this off / functionality is for the call managers themselves, not the underlying PABX's (e.g. CS1Ks)? Happy that things are under way, just need to understand the implications so I can work with the voice team as applicable.

I asked Dev, and this was the response: I believe they could be flipped by editing netperfmon.charts. Look for the <MMAvgBps> section and they can edit the <Color> in the subsets sections all they want to try and get the colors they work. We will overwrite their changes on upgrade though… Although, by your own account,…

For reports, it's just re-copying the file from a stock install (if you need it, I can attach). For nDepth searches, a little more complicated, but we could give you the search and you could save a new one (or log in as a different user to get the stock search, copy and paste using the "text mode" search toggle).

Page 81 is for configuring web console accounts and Page 307 configures pass-through accounts. You need both. The only group supported by the Orion Web Console is the ‘Everyone’ group.”

No one can really suggest a value because it is your network. If the nodes are going up/down too quick then just slowly increase the latency until you get the balance right, but just remember by doing so you're limiting NPM's accuracy and slightly delaying possible alerts. Nothing you can do about that really if the…

Yep, that is why it is so confusing. I used to display the CBQOS mibs for each router and they would be there. Here is show policy-map interface for one that the resources do not display for: Multilink10 Service-policy output: BSI_COPLEY Class-map: premium (match-all) 153017614 packets, 21260713319 bytes 5 minute offered…

I can verify that there's no blood sugar monitor. Beyond that, we're not going to put out a feature list before we ship. That spoils the surprise. Also, we're just like that.
-
Thanks Francois.
-
Scott, You should get an email today announcing the Release Candidate that lists all the features. If RC goes well, GA won't be far behind.

Did you get the System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel error resolved? We are running 3.5 (NPM 10.0 SP1) and get this error every time running "Automatically discover IP SLA capable nodes".

Currently I’m using IE9, I have around 15 maps accessed mainly by 3 users! Thanks,

what you need is IPSLA probes from site to site.... though yes, remote pollers woudl rock, something like network vanatge from compuware.... remote pollers, as part of the core license would rock, but i don't think it will happen int he short term... SW would like you to buy another SL license, and tie them together with…

Have toolset integration turned off as the default. Got it.

It's somethiing we're considering.

So I installed the new version of cirrus (v.4.0) on a new server where before I just upgraded from the privous version. I removed the cidr & route tables and only running a inventory on my routers. So far its working good but the minute I add a switch to the mix I get the lockups.

I have since opened a support ticket and with a little nudging from Support have found the issue. The script needs to be surrounded in quotes (")'s. My script looked like "D:\SW_ORION\scripts\SD_EVENT_2var.bat" "description=${FullName} has changed to ${Status}" "source_id=${S}${S}${M}" I was missing the quotes around the…

Awesome! Glad to hear it was something easy.

Has anyone figured out the solution for this... I am getting the same error for one of our nodes. It's a router.
-
Hello, I checked out the link, but I'm still having a problem with this showing as Status Down when a certain error pops up. I added a server through SNMP and I stripped down the Windows Event Log Monitor to the following settings: Polling: 60 seconds (I'm manually testing, so don't think it matters) Log Source: Any Event…

Wow, that's not helpful at all (the doc vs. the UI, I mean - the screenshot WAS helpful). 2 possibilities... * Is there an installed console on the AV server by chance that they could be referring to? (Some AV vendors do both, a fat client install and then the web client you can access from anywhere) * The documentation…
