Did you get chance to take a look ?
-
The boss checked my rights/permissions and tells me that I have more rights than I probably should, but I'm still getting that /400 (Bad Request)/ error. Is there something else I can check?
-
Okay, good to know. No love/joy on my other questions? Should I ask them in separate posts? Thanks again T, REALLY appreciate your help! -Scott Fraley
-
Sounds like a good idea. I will do that. Thanks for your help my fiend.
-
We're still working on it.
-
Thank you. I may have to give that a try. Where is the "repair database" wizard ? I'd like to give it a shot. Are you referring to something other than "database maintenance" ? Run the "Configuration Wizard" on the start menu, select Modify "Database", it will run a repair.
-
The fix for this issue will be out shortly.
-
Thanks for that info. That little tool is pretty neat. You are right about disks being overlooked, however my quene length was averaging .006. I know my SQL server is really hurting. It has a 1.6GB process running for SQL. That can't help anything.

Hey tonyohaire, Could you please send me a screenshot with what's happening when you try to create the feature request?
-
It sounds like you're doing the right thing. Pictures?

I just mean I'm hitting the 'Test' button to run the monitor.

What is your database retention set to? Orion will save 1 year be default, but if it's been set to something less for some reason, the older data will be deleted by the database maintenance routine.

This seems to be a known issue with MS SQL, please check this article for the information and workaround: https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Resolve-consistency-errors-in-SQL-Server-tables-after-upgrading-to-SAM-6-9-or-later

I appreciate it. You guys are pretty solid with support. Thanks. Nice avatar btw. Did he die or did he live?

/Orion/images/NavBar.Logo.gif /Orion/images/NavBar.Logo.png You'll need to change the href or remove if you don't wan't it linked to Solarwinds web presence. It looks like it's located in every resource, etc.. that loads a menu bar. looks like this: """" <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0"…

Hi there the problem with that idea is that i have multiple people working the product all the time, onboarding customer devices, making changes etc... so it would not work... would export/import also not change node-IDs? i am pleased u have reproduced though... The ability to filter interfaces in CPE based on node CP's is…

Take a look here. This is best document to understand Store procedure: blog.sqlauthority.com/.../ Store procedure is just a function to store small sql code/query and later you can just run them anytime using EXEC command. EXEC your_store_procedure_name Note: Orion report writer doesn't support SQL "INSERT" Command so you…

That's why I say the Alert has some special processing. It ignores the reset action. Yes, it will require a workaround like many other things.
-
Replaced the file yesterday, it was fine but today its sopped again. Any ideas ?
-
Problem solved. Recreating the alert altogether seemed to have fixed the issue.

here we go...... i could do with advice on whether i am valid in this apoproach, but the tables i had to use were: Nodes Interfaces InterfaceErrors_daily InterfaceTraffic_daily I used this SQL (which takes 2 parameters, "customer" whcih is a cusom property in my Nodes table, and then Date whicvh is of course the date I…

I will submit a Change Request to upgrade Storage Manager to 5.7.2. not sure what you mean by "proxy agent" for the VM. The storage manager agent is install on the VM.

Hey Lewis, info on how to download latest connector is here in this KB (anyone can download): SolarWinds Knowledge Base :: How to apply a LEM connector update package
-
Thanks! It works! I changed the last line to the following: where cpa.AssignmentName like '%upsAdvBatteryCapacity%' and cps.RawStatus < 40
-
Hi rduvall, I think the next logical step would be to raise a case with SW support. Could you confirm what version of LEM you are running? (under CLI - manager > viewsysinfo)
-
David, I have seen this after a refresh, or when I navigate to the page or sometimes when I restart services. In other words it is random. In my case EOC and SQL are on seperate systems. I have applied the latest performance files provided by Matthew Harvey but this did not change this issue one way or the other. (It did…

I believe this is resolved by removing IUSR_SERVERNAME user from the local Guests group. Note this only happens on Windows 2003 and not on 2008 server.

No. Sorry to confuse. VoIP is going to be priced like NetFlow. It's not an official suite, but I'm suggesting that we're starting to treat it more like a suite. When you add functionality, it's all-or-none, it's not a separate count for each component. VoIP will be a separate module, but we won't count the number of sites…

If you're on 9.0 SP2, and cannot, for whatever reason, upgrade to 9.1 SP3, then we have a hotfix for you here: ftp.solarwinds.net/.../Orion9.0SP2-Hotfix1.zip
