In Add/Remove Programs I see .NET framework 2.0 SP2 .NET framework 3.0 SP2 .NET framework 3.5 SP1

Yeah I also thought that was strange. DB is called Staff A-L

Looks great Steven, at least with my limited knowledge! Can I just copy and paste this into a template to test then?

Thanks for providing a ray of clue in this mob. I've been working to educate the "but all my ram is gone" webdevs and similar folks for 25 years now - who now stare PAST the "+/- buffers/cache" line and repeat the same bad math - and I see the work isn't yet done.

No, it did not prompt or start the CW after the reboot. Once I kicked it off then it sensed that it needed to be run for the NPM. My upgrade on my second server went smoother than my first (same thing with the CW though). On my first server I have had to run the CW 3 times so far. The last time I did it for all pieces. I…

Workaround: Issue was with the length of V3 auth string had to be less than 16 characters. Development has discovered the root of the problem. It seems that there is currently a 15 character threshold in the password for IPSLA manager. I have been told that it will take quite some doing to get your current copy of IP SLA…

Record the octets/bytes sent and received by manually logging into the device. Note the time. Wait as many hours as you care too, compute manually and see which system came the closest for the same time period. I bet neither one matches your manual calculation. I pulled an interface for yesterday from Orion NPM and…

All files were registered correctly - same result. MDAC 2.82 Orion 8.1 (with applicable hotfixes) and the TFTP Server. Windows 2003 Std R2 w/ SQL Server 2000 Std (SP4)

err... now I have a website error - do I need to edit the users table? Orion Website Error An error has occurred with the Orion website. Additional Information You do not have permission to access this view.

just simple parent/child relationships would go a long way toward "even correlation". We're working on that now.

Are there any new developments in regards to NPM for Cisco WAAS ?
-
Have confirmed all three. No problem logging into Command view with the exact same credentials. If I change them I get an authentication error from Profiler so I'm pretty sure that's not the issue :(

Yeah, what the heck is going on? This just started. I've been doing "Quick Reply". This time I'm doing a "Reply" to see if 2 posts are generated. Nope...only one post was created. I think there is an issue with "Quick Reply".

I immediately removed the hotfix because the broken map is a huge part of our operations center monitoring. So I've just been restarting w3wp.exe multiple times per day for a month. It's been tons of fun and I'm super pleased about it.

Looks like it's syncing up the times correctly now, however every time the node is back up from downtime the circuit goes to unknown status, every time. It polls ICMP only so I'm not sure why it would go to unknown every time polling resumes. Any thoughts?

When I apply this fix I receive the following error for one of two of our maps: "Error: The communication object, System.ServiceModel.Security.SecuritySessionClientSettings`1+ClientSecurityDuplexSessionChannel[System.ServiceModel.Channels.IDuplexSessionChannel], cannot be used for communication because it is in the Faulted…

We have found in the past that linux/unix agents sometimes give some very strange results for CPU and memory and interface values. This can usually be remedied by upgrading the SNMP agents but it seems that SNMP agents are different on different versions of these OSs and in a large server environment it's difficult to get…

It's trying to work, but the times aren't working right for some reason. I created the unmanage task to have a 14 hour 45 min duration (This is a location overseas so compensating for time difference) and the task scheduler is suppost to use the cmd at 9:15am M-Sat but I'm getting weird times and not the durations I setup.…

There are no node or interface limits on the trial version.

Yea I meant a /26, fat fingered, so with that subnet input for my nodes, after the scan is done this is what it tells me it found (and its not a server and a DRAC like I thought, is a UPS and a printer: So even though it scans through some crazy amount of subnets and IP's, it still only shows me what I know is actually…

Oh ok glimbeek, so you're looking for any queries that execute from AP001 onto DB001 which we are monitoring, but AP001 does not house the DB itself and is not being individually monitored either. I have a question for you then, if you do a select * from COND to find the DBID (column ID) of DB001, what do you see when you…

Kindbro, With 29g, it could be 3 or 4 hours based on a few of our bigger customers. Mark is right. There's a big payoff in the efficiency of database maintenance, but you should definitely plan on a long database upgrade. Denny

Features and functionality which have been available for years should not just be arbitrarily changed or dropped. Dropped? I thought you'd been customizing it for the last 4 years. Was it dropped four years ago? Or what am I not understanding? Dropped is very different from "haven't implemented yet".

OK. So we are going to be updating some of those. Post some screenshots of what you'd like to see.

That issue will be addressed in Hotfix 2, which is due soon. It is possible that a test dll was overwritten by hotfix 1.

With Exchange, when I saw this problem with phones, I saw the original logon failures either in IIS or on the Exchange server. You might dig back just on that username and see what events they are generating around that time period in general and see if you can spot some UserLogonFailures anywhere in there. (In LEM, open…

Who are these...Grownups?

Our best suggestion is to use the IP address groups for now. Other customers may have suggestions as well.

I have received the work-around information. Thanks.

Please clarify - do you want me to open the ticket for the email problem or the CA work-around?
