Hello Ericsc, Compare the values being received within the SNMPTrap.log with the values you have specified within the SNMP Trap Monitor. If everything appears to match, try disabling the "Examine the Variable Bindings" section and see if the traps are still logged as rejected. If they are, can you possibly post the last…

Hello Martyn, The problem I am seeing is that the original prompt is: [2.1.5-RELEASE][cattools@firewall.local]/home/cattools(1): It then changes to the following after it receives the configuration information: [2.1.5-release][cattools@firewall.local]/home/cattools(2): As CatTools is looking for…

Hello Fishermc, At this time ipMonitor 9 supports version 1 SNMP Traps. Hello Iug, The Last-Value Threshold is meant to detect spikes in network usage. By default, this is set to 90%. If 90% of the interface's bandwidth capabilities are reached, it will then check the average bandwidth usage on the interface within the time period specified (default is 915 seconds). If the average exceeds the…

Hi Andrew, Think of the "Last-Value Threshold" value as a flag raiser. If the average bandwidth usage since the last test exceeds the Last-Value Threshold, a flag goes up and it then verifies the Short-Term Threshold. The Short-Term value is basicaly the sum of the average bandwidth usage values gathered by each test…
