Chapter 8 of the Orion NCM Administrator Guide (page 87) is about reports, and the Physical Entity report is one of the many standard reports in Orion. You can view the .pdf version of the guide on the Support tab of the forum. Click Reports > View Report to see the entire list. You can then select the one you need.

If you add a new table to the Orion database, SolarWinds won't be able to support it since it's not part of the original Orion installation. With that in mind, if someone in the community, like jp, can help you add a table, that's great!

If you go to PacketPros (https://packetpros.com), and expand Miscellaneous in the left column, there is a link for NPM SNMPv3. Note that the original post is from 2006, so this may not be using a recent version of Orion NPM. (It does use System Manager.)

History of the case with support shows "... a diskperf -yv issue on Windows 2000." Does that help?

Yes. As I'm sure everyone will tell you, be sure to backup the database and any critical files or customizations before you upgrade or migrate.

I'm running the DB on a separate server, Raid 5. We generally recommend using a RAID configuration that maximizes write capability, since Orion writes a LOT of data to the database. Separate server, though, is good! Especially if it's dedicated to the Orion DB.
