You will have to use an Orion Admin account that has NCM Admin rights in this location. ~Dez~

I added the .zip to the case as it was from winmail. Thank you Bruce we are going over it now. Thank you,

FYI: I am still currently pruning hte Database I will post once it is ready to be downloaded. Thank you,

http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/Orion/docs/SolarWindsPortRequirements.pdf 5671 TCP RabbitMQ messaging Thank you, ~Dez~

Could you please send me the full OID so that I can verify this in the database? Also are you using the MIB walk and MIB browser functions from the Toolset? If so then the database in the Toolset vs the Orion could be two different database versions. If one is correct in the readings then I would suggest copying it from…

You'll need to verify your address to make sure it is an exact match to your CCO Credentials and Cisco contracts. if it is NOT this will happen. When I say identical I mean it even an extra space can cause issues. HTH, Dez

How can I help? I can do a webex and see what's cooking Thursday mornlong if that would work? Send me a PM and we will get it figured out!

We have the Orion diagnostics but not the Netflow diagnostics on the case of 22118. C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion\NetFlowTrafficAnalysis\solarwindsdiagnostics.exe

The issue was found this weekend and I am currently pruning the bad data in the MIB Database. There is going to be a posting of a new cleaned up version of the Database available after 12 PM CST tomorrow 3/4/10. Thank you,

Try to edit the credentials on that resource to the servers login with admin rights. See if this will allow the resource to be seen. In the past we have had user say if they change the credentials on the resource only to the admin of the server the view is resolved and is able to work correctly. ~Dez

There are a few things now that are available. LEM: Integrate Cisco network devices with SolarWinds LEM - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support Kiwi Syslog server - This will handle traps and syslog messages with more intense segregation that will allow you to filter and forward to NPM for alerting. NCM will be…

You are able to do this within your rules on your compliance using the search all config or blocks. You can even place strings using and or etc so you can hone down what you need to be alerted to your needs. Here is where that is at within the rules portion to create: HTH ~Dez

We want to hear from the customers on their needs for use cases. We have these conversations daily internal and external with several vendors
-
I agree! Please fill out the survey and I'll be in contact with you shortly after. ~Dez~
-
This is exactly the type of conversation I wanted to start! I'm pulling in other PM's to review also. Thank you for starting this off, the spice pic is EPIC btw ~Dez~
-
See and you thought you were new to NCM ;-) Yes, that is a workaround you can use it just post to the config and no write but adding it within the snippet will work. This is generally why others use the command scripts since they put in the full exit and write for changes. Config snippets are useful for on the fly changes…

This tool is highly sensitive due to Cisco's case sensitive database. You'll need to get with Cisco and your CCO account information as the address has to match perfectly as well. HTH ~Dez~
-
This is great and appreciated! I may reach out to you in November if you do not mind to have a phone conversation. Please let me know if this would be ok? ~Dez~
-
I'm back in THWACKLAND! I've sent you a message through your inbox as well to help you out!
-
Sure can! What is the need or questions around this you are having\wondering? ~Dez
-
Nope you just apply to the poller no uninstalling necessary. ~Dez
-
Just remember if you do this and have pollers you will need to do the same to them or they will not connect. HTH, ~Dez

This is how I feel about Splunk. I have had about 3 months training in Splunk and we ( my friends and I in training) decided on this meme: LOL ~Dez~

Fantastic thank you for letting us know :)

Yes, and if you were monitoring the SolarWinds application you would be able to directly see if the application has sped up and processes quicker ~Dez
-
Thank you! ~Dez~

I have seen this as well. All though mine was becouse of Visual basic. Here is a link that might give you some help with the error since that is Vb runtime error: download.microsoft.com/.../MCMS 2002 - DCA FAQ.htm ~Dez

@"zennifer" glad you're back in THWACK land Completely understand the physically connected while upgrading. There are a lot of security protocols that require that.

The difference is that depending on your level of "saving" backups we use TFTP/SFTP/SCP servers for hte4 transfer to place within the database. You can then set up an archive and store these etc. If you want to just use the SCP server you would be able to feed the commands to F5 and use the SolarWinds SCP server to do…

NPM uses the cortex engine to poll the information from Cisco ACI. We are currently looking at how to retrieve and use these files within NCM, as you've seen and replied its clunky at best. The flat file is what we need and that seems to be more than a CLI request them. Example: "Some REST API configurations may not be…
