It will stick as long as its only the Caption field you are editing.

Sounds good. Did you test it out with SolarWinds Orion NTA? Does NTA recognize the flow being received by Ubuntu?
-
Hi, Long shot but did you try loading the mib in UnDP for the switch?

Bump!

This is about SolarWinds Log & Event Manager becoming an Orion product. SolarWinds is converting the flash based LEM to HTML, with SWIS built in. This makes it possible to integrate it with Orion.
-
Hi there, What do you want to log?

Hi Shane, 1. Go to: Threshold Rules 2. Create a new rule based on > Threshold Rules. 3. Give it a name 4. Section = Storage Array 5. Category = Disk Drive Asset CLARiiON drives usually are listed as x_x_x for example 0_0_0 6. Move the CLARiiON disks over to the "Selected" box. 7. Condition: Operational Status != OK (not…

Can we get some exposure for this please?

Hello adam, How many polling engines are connected to the SQL server and what is the total elements count that you are monitoring? Which Orion products are in use?
-
Hi, Has this issue been resolved in the latest WPM?
-
Thanks, That worked out great!

Check the following: 1. Are you logged in to the application server (Orion) as the local admin? (domain admin won't do). 2. Is UAC on the application server disabled? 3. Run OrionPermissionChecker.exe found in <installdir>\SolarWinds\Orion and fix issues, if they exist. 4. When running ConfigurationWizard, are you…

Hey rschroeder There's a Node Details View resource called 'Port Details', that lists all the monitored ports on the currently viewed node. If you don't see the Port Details resource in your Node Details view then it's likely due to the page being customized previously, or the Node isn't being scanned by UDT. Customize…
-
If you're using Network Discovery to import discovered nodes then make sure that the import ports option during the import wizard is not selected. Otherwise you'd risk having UDT port monitoring enabled on all the newly imported nodes - Windows and Linux nodes included.
-
Custom Volume thresholds is now possible but I think you need SAM to do this. Go to Manage Nodes - Expand the Node whos volume you wish to se custom thresholds on - Mark the Volume - Edit Properties. Here's you can Override Capacity Thesholds. Can you please confirm whether this is available on an NPM-only system?
-
Hi Will, Custom thresholds on a Volume level is something that SolarWinds are working on. It isn't something that is currently possible.

Hi there, Based on the past releases, we can expect support for 8.0 in 2020 or by 2021. This is by no means an official statement but rather a guesstimate. Cisco CUCM v11.0 Release Date: Jan 2015 Supported by Orion VNQM since: March 2017 (v4.4) Avaya Aura Communication Manager v7.0 Release Date: August 2015 Supported by…

Hi there, Here's what you could do. 1. Hold Shift down and click on the SolarWinds logo in the bottom right corner of the chart. 2. Hold Alt down and hit Print SCRN on your keyboard to capture the selected window in your clipboard. You can now paste the image in a mail.

One of the alert actions for received trap rules is to play a sound. The sound file you select to be played will be played on whichever browser has a live session in Orion. What you need in order to get this working is the following: 1. a sound file (windows audio) 2. confirm that the group or user account settings has…

Hi, How many flow sources are you planning on monitoring? 6 disks for RAID 10 sounds about right. You need to make sure you have log and temp files on separate volumes, though For that you'll need more that 6 disks total.

Hi there, Is this the issue you are experiencing? UDT "Devices to scan" selection issue
