Any movement on this? I'm trialing the product, but it's a deal breaker if there isn't an agentless solution.

I would also like to see Global Options by Device Type: We use entirely different username/password/security etc options for Cisco Switches than we do for HP Switches, which are again completely different from Fortigate Firewalls or NetApp Filers.

That answer doesn't really help me tho as I cannot modify the helpdesk system. Honestly, I just want a simple tick box for Auto-Acknowledge.

It seems to be a bug in V7 - we went back to 6.1 as it wouldn't download Fortigate configs anymore - omitted lines there as well (when it could figure out how to login as for some reason it kept trying to pass the variable NAME instead of the variable content to the devices as login name. Daft.

Are there any plan to change this licensing model? Not all devices support netflow, so in our case it seems extreme to have to pay for NTA2500 when we can only monitor the interfaces on the 10 devices that do netflow/sflow (total of 172 interfaces). Shouldn't NTA be licensed like APM?

We have successfully rolled back ... and are much happier. Steps as follows: Follow these steps: NCM 7.0 integrated with NPM on single machine scenario NCM 7.0 integrated with NPM on single machine scenario In order to roll back to 6.1 the following steps needs to be performed: Open Add or Remove Programs --Uninstall…

All our controllers and AP's are Fortinet. Any eta on when they'll be added?

I'd like LLDP as well. And please please please support more than just Cisco! Thanks.

Has anyone tried this? Also ... why isn't there a simple option to auto-acknowledge for those of us who use external Help Desk systems (we tried passing the url, but it didn't work with the way the Help desk system is setup), so now I have to manually go thru and acknowledge all the alerts sent to the Help Desk.

What about an option to select multiple interfaces of the same device for different things - say we want the basic polling on the wan int (ping up) ... but config downloads on lan interfaces ...
-
What about HP Stacks ... and Fortigate Wireless Controllers

Monitoring HP Switch Stacks (2920-48G in particular). We don't use Cisco. Monitoring Fortigate/FortiWiFi Firewalls as Wireless Controller, and FortiAP-S323C, FortiAP-S321C, FortiAP-S313C, FortiAP-S311C

From Support on How to Back-Rev: Follow these steps: NCM 7.0 integrated with NPM on single machine scenario In order to roll back to 6.1 the following steps needs to be performed: Open Add or Remove Programs --Uninstall SolarWinds Orion NCM-NPM Integration v7.0 -- Run Orion Configuration Wizard -- Uninstall SolarWinds…

We went to 7 and are looking to back-rev to 6. Lost too much functionality with the Win32 and since we were mostly using it for config archiving of devices not normally up and on the lan, 7 broke most of our functionality and was a pain. It's also appallingly slow to do anything with the web interface - not to mention so…

Got this from support: The process no matter is going ot be tedious. It will definitley require uninstalling the NCM 7.0 Everyting. Uninstalling the NPM web console at least Then one would need to restore from a back up an NPM database from prior to NCM 7 being installed and integrated. The NCM 6.x would need to be…

Us too 7 is appalling. Lost way too much functionality.
