No problem Denny, I probably misread you. Anyway, here is my original post. I figure it should be that simple but I must have something misconfigured. I've read it is supposed to average the vlue between the two polled times and mine appears not to be doing that.

So how far down the road have we come in the last 6 months. Any updates??

Denny, I found that response slightly offensive. I was simply stating that I posted a similar question to the one that CaptainOrion had posted in another thread and he did not get a response. I don't think I invited that response, especially from a member of the solarwinds staff

I'd like to see this too. The alerting to the log file would be much more useful if I could fashion the file with only specific information from the trap. The whole message regurgitated into the log makes parsing difficult.

Hi, I did exactly as stated above, but it is reporting the delta WITHOUT dividing the time in seconds between the two polls, did I not set the unit and time frame correctly???

Re-running configuration wizard appears to have fixed me. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. They appear to be telnet logons and I realized that they persist only as long as I leave the config window open. After an config clip upload it appears to keep the connection open indefinielty

Thanks. Had a sneaking suspicion is was known

APM was working fine before SP3. I can try re-installing

I've been trying this after our upgrade to 9.0 The new version appears to have rendered this document invalid due to changes in the HTML code of the detached resource. Can someone please confirm this? I really need this to work and I'm lost now.

How come I keep seeing my question in here with no answers. Is there no solution to this?

I am having this same issue. This appears to be a regular maintenance issue which I've performed in the past, and SW is now suggesting we edit the SQL DB directly?? It seems to me that this was easy to do in the system manager before it was crippled by "progress". I'm sorry, I had to get my dig in considering I'm coming…
