Why are users requesting an IP Address? In my travels through various govt spaces, it was always the system/workstation/Support desk asking for capacity or new workstations. Once the request was received through our Trouble Ticket system an address would either be assigned to the specific workstation via a block of IP…

Arent we always in a state of flux with our monitoring? New systems, applications, processes and then the need to monitor, manage, and track.
