My first thoughts would be to go into the Database and start pulling out tables/data through a custom query of sorts. But now that you mention it, I would like to see a default widget option to monitor Etherchannels. I would like to say there maybe something already out there, and honestly have not had the opportunity to…

Wondering what code you are running on the Palo Alto. Can you send that screen shot?
-
Can you send a screen shot? Is this from IPAM or Palo Alto?
-
I have not worked with this much as I usually just push out configuration changes based on Audit results to one or many devices. But with that said, if you go over to Configuration Management > Script Management you should be able to build out your configuration scripts for your needs.

rschroeder, you mentioned "Communications Platforms staff allows you snmp access into them". That is going to be a fun and very short conversation.

I am interested as well.

We originally went with Firefox because of Internet Exploder was not as reliable/Secure with other Tools we were using at the time. I believe we set this up during 10.2 or even version 9. We have had great success with it. As far a using the NOC view feature, you may be overloading on occasion the Orion Server with other…

I have seen customers do this using Firefox as the browser. Can you provide a little more detail on your environment? thanks,

Mr. White, Did you get the answers you were seeking? Thanks, CourtesyIT

I have not had many issue with support. I have learned from past tickets that if I include screenshots and a far amount of text describing what the error is and what I am looking for my issue tends to get resolved fairly quickly. Also, since half of my issues are on a closed network, describing becomes ultimately vital is…

Ok, I am taking each type of interface and configuring a Custom Query in a new View so I can look at a glance to see how many on a single device. Question: I would like to be able to do an Enterprise Wide port type count per port type (Ethernet, FastEthernet, GigabitEthernet, TenGigabitEthernet, Loopback, and Tunnel)
-
That works. It even includes sub-interfaces which is fine with me since I use them a lot. Good work!

That's funny, but understandable. Always promoting! Wear the Solarwinds Socks every day, Wear the Lab coat around the office and have all the swag displayed on my desk, and wear a Solarwinds Shirt 3 out of 5 days.

I am not sure how new you are to Networking, but if this is your first time working with a Management application then the below might be helpful to you. The creator of these ( mcbridea ) postings below has done an excellent job in helping…

I am sure you are monitoring this network node via SNMP and have selected the ports in question through "List Resources" under the Manage Nodes Section. With that said you will need to configure your SMTP Server settings and configure an alert to use the SMTP server to send you a message of your choosing. There should be…

It would be great if there was a section in the sections to declare this value and have it be persistent through the solution.

Please take a look at this page. Re: Advancing Super Thwackers! At the bottom, you will see how many points some of our honored thwackers earn each month. Some are VERY active and some are moderately active. The points are there and the activity level is how much you want to learn. All the best,

It is very possible to catch anyone on the Thwack boards. Yes, I went back and did that. Thanks,

nevermind, I was saw the grayed out Navigator to the left-hand side and was able to apply filters. Thanks
-
Never say Never. You are going to have to look at a Normal operating situation and then a negitive operating situation then locate the deltas. Then reverse engineer the software to alert/notify you of the undesirable event. Good luck, there is a solution there. By then end of the journey you will be teaching all of us.

A loopback address does not go down but a physical interface will.
