Not sure how I missed this one.
-
ZibaK I would suggest out of the box, you let your Cisco ACS to that function, if you have it?
-
I am also scanning several /16's and had to go down to /19's to get there. It actually works better for me because when I add new devices from different servers, I need to adjust my Node Database to make allowances for different columns.
-
I think byrona will have some good feedback.
-
Just remember to backup your Database and turn off the User Access Control Slider during install.

Thanks jeff.stewart for answering. I just got my F5's in my NCM this week and started working on them in depth. Thanks miteethor for putting in screen shots. They are very helpful for those working with Solarwinds and F5 Support.

scottgille This looks very similar to what is already included in your NPM configuration. If you go to your Home tab at the top > Drop Down to All Nodes box > Drill down to you find a node and select. Scroll down just a bit and you should see a "Nodes Details" box with most of the information that you requested above.…

Not sure about that one bsciencefiction.tv, That is outside my lane. Whatever happens I still support Solarwinds and gladly hold shares. Now if some of these sports teams sold stock on an Exchange I would buy the stock and watch them play, but since they don't, I do not watch sports on TV. I have Solarwinds things to…

This is good news, especially for my stock account. Up 8 points last time I check this morning.

Interesting......

Well, First thing, its Microsoft. You might is if there is a MIB for that variable, Test your connectivity to and from your solarwinds and TMG, not sure how the information would be delivered or pulled to the solarwinds server. I have never worked on a TMG before so I am not familiar with it.
-
Interesting.

syelverton@equitybank.com did you ever get a resolution to this issue and if so how did you resolve it.
-
There maybe some prebuilt reports. I will have to look around but maybe wluther has something already built.
-
Thursday, huh! If it was working well, even this some changes it would seem that it should still work. I have found recently that most things are not an Solarwinds issue but an access-list, group-policy, or other security feature was activated or deactivated that will cause a problem for me. I like to think our…

We just completed a migration ourselves. I had three new servers built. Orion, SQL, NTA Flow. Backed up the database and moved it over to new SQL. Installed Eval licensing on new servers. Pointed to new database SQL Migrated nodes over decommissioned old servers activated new servers. Not hard to do, just have to follow…

do not forget to check you spacing and line returns. They are hidden and will affect the rule.

Chris, Keep in mind, if you are doing these for STIG purposes, there is only suppose to be one account locally configured for emergency access. Depending on your setup you if you need two or more an exception to policy letter may be required. Thanks,
-
Yes, this is an interesting one. I willing to bet the timestamp on your configuration saves is the majority of the issue. I have been able to mitigate this to an extent by running a job that issues the following commands to my Cisco Devices. wr mem copy run start It does not totally solve the issue, but helps for me.

Understandable, They are definitely getting pricey these days. There are some employers that will assist with education in various ways. Some reimburse and some give bonuses. Important this is when you do get a job, LEARN WHATEVER YOU CAN. Borrow some books of coworkers that have attended classes, get involved in a forum…

I was able to get it working. Thanks,
-
grantallenby, I found this report. I like the information here but want to manipulate it a bit. Do you know of a way to get into the code of the reports to work with it? CourtesyIT

Just need some activity to an issue for it to raise hire on the list.

Having similar problems. Hopefully with the next release this file will be more stable, tolerant, and resilient. Replacing a file does not sound like a fix to me but more of a band-aid.

This is also some more information for you to start with. Your may vary but if you can expand each of the resources to find where you need to be. Consult your admin guides prior. Block of 6 sequentially ordered IP Addresses Reserved for Solarwinds Servers. Each server listed below is a dedicated server and functions cannot…
