So, I was working with Solarwinds Tech Support this morning. We looked around the Core SW Server at some logs and tested a few things. He is advising me to download software again in the event of a corruption during transfer. Tech Support has been really good and patient with me on this one. Shout out to them!!!

Adam, 1. I think so, UAC? 2. Yes, no firewall. 3. Logged on to the server as admin 4. Logged on as admin. Others have said that the initial would last 20-30 seconds but the secondary process may take a few minutes to start given the server situation.

If you are running SAM, then I would push the agent to it. If not then I would run SNMPv3 on it. Last resort would be WMI. WMI tends to be resource intensive and chatty and you want to save on resources for your EPO server.
