Looking for similar information. There is always the Database, but that can get tricky.

updated links and reports

Great tip and very good write up. I enjoyed this one because there was some explanation into the code and how it was used. Thanks,

I would suggest using Orion SDK to work on building customized scripts to pull information from the database to populate your report. You may have to do some of it by hand.

Thanks,

Without further and additional information, You may have to develop an additional Rule Set to associate a new policy for this specific node group. The policy is where you can define your nodes and the rules themselves will hold the remediation script for that group of nodes. It does sound like a good feature request, but…

You may need to configure a couple UnDP for this node until further MIB support is available. Try to do a MIB walk on this device and send the response to SolarWinds, so they may be able to add MIBs to the default MIB Database.
-
You might be able to edit your device template and your config types to download the show command that shows usage. If you have more questions on this send me an email at solarwinds@courtesyit.com

Are you able to ping the node from your Orion Server? Any security, firewalls, HIPs on the node? Has it ever be 'up'? Thanks,
-
Yes, it will take some SQL querying. You will need to find the location in the database that contains this field and edit nodes for them. Actually, it might be easier and safer if you use Orion SDK and the consult @"KMSigma.SWI" posts on best practices.

Are you not able to put in all the server IP addresses into a Network Discovery and find them? Are there any Windows Firewall or HIPs running on these servers? Discovery Method: ICMP, WMI, SNMP, or Agent?

There is no file type allowed. The STIGs from DISA are a proprietary file format. If there is a specific one you are looking for please let me know and I can create a template for you. Only networking devices are able to be done at this time. thanks, CourtesyIT

Dude, I hear you. My "Customizations" Page is getting very busy. I am thinking of peeling off some things and moving it to another page with links all over the place. Right now, the User opens the page and is bombared with options and they have not even learned how to spell "NPM". I am going to have to create a higher…

I have this customization working for me and have been very helpful thanks. The one bit that I am having an issue with is the ssh connection portion. I am using putty for my ssh client. Any workarounds for this?
-
Sorry wluther it did not work. I am going back to the beginning to see if I can get it to work. It would be nice to see what is all available then piece out from there.

Got a bit lost on the JOINs. There are several.

I was wondering about the SAM piece and hardware health is enabled on all devices. As I lower the above numbers down to networking levels more devices appear. I will also need to modify a bit since some of the columns are not required. Thanks, Eric

alexslv and hcy01uk I wanted to convert this to use only Cisco, Riverbed, and Juniper devices. I edited the follow lines but only seem to get a couple items. a.Vendor IN ('Cisco','Riverbed Technology','Juniper') AND ( What else am I missing here?

This looks like it could really be useful. Any chance you can generate a more "How-To" guide for this?
-
I like it. I will have to play around with it a bit. Thanks,

Added. Cool stuff. I have always said, "If you are going to say something, say it with color"
