When you run the Config Wizard, have you set your USER ACCESS CONTROL slider to the bottom and ran "as administrator". Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts > User Access Control Settings > slide bar to the bottom.

Just had the same issue. I was trying to setup connection profiles and saw that I had TFTP selected. I deselected TFTP and issue resolved without a reload. This is a good through and was able to clear a problem without opening a case.

No, you just have to look at your agents on the server, HIPS server, and your workstation to find the "blocked" transaction. Unfortunately, I have had too much experience in dealing with this, getting it corrected, and developing policy exceptions to do what is needed to be done.

did you get a resolution for this issue?

I would start my config block at: ^aaa new-model end my config block at: ^! for cisco devices.

Did you remove any registry entries? System Firewalls / Anitvirus / HBSS (usually the case for those of us)?

Ok Ricky, Here is how it works out. I am not a regex pro either. But it will look for which ever type of port you may list down below. Fast|Gigabit|etc..... Just how ever the device lists its ports. 1. Import the report into your solarwinds NCM. 2. Go to Policies and associate this rule to a specific device 3. Go to…

makecrazy I am redoing the Juniper reports at the moment and should be out soon. If you find a juniper device that is running SSH and would like for me to build you a custom report let me know the CLI command that would satisfy your request. Thanks,

I would be interested to see if the additional webserver makes a difference. I was talking with the solarwinds federal team last week at a conference about additional webservers and the advantages of using them verse directly off the Orion Core.

cnorborg I have set this up as a Custom Query Resource on my Configs Tab. It does a good job a counting the ports but I seem to have one more extra port on my devices. I am looking at my WS-2960G-8TC-L and WS-C3550-12G switches. I am getting 9 and 13 ports respectively. Thoughts?
