Okay, I see. Thank you very much @JiriPsota! Unfortunately I can "only" set the threshold to 50'000. But since we sometimes have several million Erros And Discards, this setting doesn't solve the problem completely. Could it also be deactivated globaly there (in the global "NPM Thershold" settings)?

Would you adjust the threshold only under the specific interface, which creates many discards, or for the whole environment? And in the settings under "Thresholds & Polling" in the "Orion General Thresholds" I can't find a setting specifically for in/out discards. Where do you normally configure it? Thanks in advance!

We assume that the In/Out Errors and Discards on the switch are given in bits and are interpreted by solarwinds as packets. This of course leads to these high spikes, even if…
