ask guard "1" if the OTHER gaurd would tell you if door 1 is safe. if he says yes, then choose door 2, if the answer is no then choose door 1. If gaurd 1 is the liar, he would lie and say that the other guard would say yes, when he really would not. If guard 1 is the one that would tell the truth, he would still say yes…

I thought of that but then it becomes a nightmare to manage the alert environment because you would have to go in and re-enable alerts when the server is removed from maintenance mode (which means you trust your server group to communicate this as well...lol)

We had a similar issue. It turned out that we had setup the SNM2 to log into Command Suite with the "super user" id and it would kick us out when Command Suite would do it's polling. We created a seperate user just for the SolarWinds collection as well as for the SNM2n in command suite. This resolved out issues.

I believe you need to have HDS Tuning Manager software to be able to get this data. STM would then import this from the Tuning Manager software
