Joe, please open a ticket with support here.

We're investigating - please stand by

Just to follow up, it may take a little time - seeing as we have a new help system in place. Hang in there please. You will not be forgotten.
-
Ok I hear what you're saying. I'll talk to the Core people to get that local help updated. I'll also post installation instructions here (and in the zip) in a few minutes.
-
replying via incognito mode - is all well? looks good to me
-
Sorry for the late reply – GPOs have WMI classes so yes, we should be able to monitor them as long as those classes are part of CIMV2 (I think they are). I found a list of them here:http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa375082%28v=vs.85%29.aspx#_win32_group_policy_core_classesSo you could just browse for WMI counters…

Love to see what you write up. If it qualifies, I'll put it in the next version of the Administrator Guide, if it's not already there. While we're on the subject, if you (or your SolarWinds friends) have any other tips you'd like to share, please post them here: Comments Needed! Always looking to add quality information to…

I will do my best to clarify them ASAP. (Imagine if these were IKEA instructions...ugh.)
-
Just an FYI - if this helps. Take a look at the PreReqs here, if this is the template you're using. HTH. Active Directory 2008 R2 - 2012 Services and Counters

After reading your post, "me" seems acceptable...but that's just .

In answer to your second question: These two variables are the same, just with different names. Why? I do not know. There may be a situation where this can be useful but I cannot think of one right now.
-
The link is: http://www.solarwinds.com/support/orion/docs/OrionNetworkAtlasAdminGuide.pdf page 46. I'm getting info for your second question...please stand by. :-)

Happy to help!
-
Sorry, I did that. I realized after I posted the article that it didn't apply to your situation.
-
Corrected. Should be visible later this afternoon, 6/2/2015.
-
Maybe it’s better to use the exit code 0 in all 4 cases and set thresholds based on returning values? For example: Return values: Running – 0 Saved – 1 In state – 2 Off – 3 Warning: greater than 1 Critical: greater than 2

I've been informed about this lovely posting by the SAM PM, AlterEgo. As the SAM tech writer, I will indeed write a KB on this next week, "borrowing" your hard work. And I was a fan of the real Bob Ross...I know how he expresses himself. (Unfortunately, tech-writing doesn't permit a great deal of flare. I'll be sure to…

Thank you sir. I will endeavor to get that corrected.

Remember there are 2 procedures I listed above: 1 to edit the TEMPLATE, the other to edit the APPLICATION/DB. HTH
-
Editing the AppInsight for Exchange Template: * From the web console, navigate to Settings > SAM Settings > Manage Templates. * Check the AppInsight for Exchange template in the list and then click Edit. * From here, you can edit any and all component monitors within the template.
-
Clicking that should do the trick. This is on the Database Details View. Get there by clicking your DB then click Edit Database to edit the monitors. (This will modify the application)
-
SAM 6.1.1 Local Help files are up to date and they can be found toward the bottom of this page: http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/apm/apmDoc.aspx Orion Help files concern "core" elements shared between the various Orion products on the platform, where SAM help is specifically for SAM. HTH.
-
Thanks for the post. I will update that section of the Admin Guide with some clarification ASAP.

...much like your sneaker odor.

The JMX doc alterego is referring to is here. Appears his link is broken.

After further investigation, APM does not support the feature you want.
