That would not work for us as while we are 24x7, management is only really concerned if our systems are down during regular business hours. So we need the 24x7 monitoring, but not the uptime reporting for it.

I second this idea. I've just had to create several duplicate monitors and create complicated maintenance schedules just to be able to report unacceptible outages that occur only during business hours.

This appears to be working for us (v10.0 build 1298). I created special ping monitors with a custom tag, then created a Smart Group based on that tag. I then created a report and added that Smart Group into it. So far it is working normally.

1- same behavior 2- same behavior DEV was unable to make any progress today and we again sent them our config folder and support.txt file.

Now October and still no updates or information?

"last few releases" Have there been any of those in the past year or so?
-
Any updates on this one? I see other Solarwinds products (LEM - Using Windows Event Log Monitor on Deep Logs ) are able to do this, so why not IPMonitor?
-
Has there been any progress to this? Having business hours reports easily available is one issue that is pushing us away from the ipMonitor product. (and no we would NOT be replacing it with another Solarwinds one) As for the filters, I don't see any such tabs for reports.

I'm being asked to generate this report on a quarterly basis. So its not 5 time selections, its around 60. Also, am I correct in that each day/time selection would have its own independant elements? No way to average everything together for the individual selections?

Nearly three months later and still no reply?

Nice to see that SolarWinds is still working on ipMonitor. Ever since the buyout, I've been concerned they would phase this out to move everyone to Orion NPM/APM Brachus

We're currently on 10.8.2, what will the next release be? Any idea on timeframes for a release candidate or beta at least?

We are experiencing the exact same situation after migrating ipMonitor 10.0.1 to a new server (W2k8R2). What is strange is the the old server (W2003)had multiple IP addresses on a single NIC and SNMP worked without any issues. THe issue appears whether we have mutiple ip addresses on a single NIC, or single addresses on…

Still hoping Fodome (Chris Foley) is around on this forum somewhere. Went through steps for a fresh ipMonitor install and imported our configuration back into it. Still the same behavior on the runtime.log. SolarWinds overseas support is escalating my case over to Dev now.
