Unfortunately that seems to hide all assets not just child assets. What we want to do is hide software that we assigning as child assets to clients and devices but keep Parent assets the computers visible so that the user can select them when submitting a ticket.

THANK YOU! I also found some more personal settings while clicking around under Tech > My Account > Notifications that did a similar thing but that I like better because it doesn't sent an email to myself when I update the ticket.
