Had to change the MTU back (breaking Netflow in the process) to 1492 to get bank sites to load properly. Need a better fix!

Seems like the 1490 / 1460 combo seems to be the highest I can go. Traffic stats seem to be working now after I rebooted the Orion server :)
-
I'm still trying to find an optimal MTU size also, you may be able to go higher than 1470. But remember the other MTU value (tcp adjust-mss) must be 30 lower than this figure.

Yup same fault :) Not sure if you are able to reproduce it in one of your labs?

Hi guys, Here is an extract from the working config: interface Vlan1 description Internal Network ip address 10.10.187.254 255.255.255.0 ip inspect Inspect_Outbound out ip flow ingress ip flow egress ip nat inside ip virtual-reassembly ip route-cache flow ip tcp adjust-mss 1440 ! interface Dialer0 description ****…

Dropped MTU to 1470 and MSS to 1440, seems to have resolved problem.

I found this link, looks like I missed out the egress and ingress stuff. I've updated the router config but so far no change. www.youtube.com/watch The Windows 2008 installation is running on a virtual server which a contact of mine says could be the issue, she is having similar problems. I'll try downloading this:…

Massive thread gravedig here... I'm trying to get Netflow working also. Server is Windows 2008, latest version of NCM, NTA, and NPM freshly installed. Windows firewall is disabled (for now). We have a variety of routers at our remote sites that connect back to National Office here via VPN. I can ping the NTA server…

Hi Jan, Suryanto did some work with the license file which seemed to fix things, for some reason it was picking it up as a 500 rather than 2000 license. Just gotta work out why none of my passwords work for NCM now lol
-
Hi Jan, case number is 186093, I have sent the diagnostics to Suryanto.

An iPhone app to monitor / alert you when things go down would be good too. Also something that will throw a warning when a UPS switches to battery power. Better UPS integration in general would be nice. Lithium has something that does this, I used to use their software before outgrowing it and moving to Orion.

Hi Jan, I have a ticket open, just tried truncating the 3 databases to no effect, just waiting for them to get back to me. I can't find the logs at that path, the install is located on C, what is the exact path to the file. Doing a Ctrl-F won't find that filename. Cheers, Braden

Same problem here but with a few Cisco 877 routers, funny thing is it only affects some of them, not all of them. Seems like the ones I added to NTA BEFORE I enabled Netflow on them work fine, but the ones I added to NTA after enabling netflow on the device do not show the utilization. Possible bug? Let me know if you find…
