This might be something similar I have also asked for.

Is there a way to place a group yet? In the description is says (If you placed a group of nodes, the status of the icon will reflect the "worst") but I don't see how to add groups. How is it done if so? Thanks Edit: Never mind figured it out. You can't actually add a group, but you can add multiple in the same location…

The image under Rome wasn't built in a day is looking nice. I have seen a few feature requests that doesn't look like they have gotten much attention so I would like to point them out here. I think they would be a nice addition. Re: Percent Utilization both in and out on interface I'm sure there have been others if I…

Bump, trying to bring these back and get attention for votes. Thanks

Figured out were to get these images. Go to http://www.weather.com/weather/map/interactive/ Then enter your city or zip etc. Then on the right you should see More Classic Maps. Click on the classic radar. That will give you a map centered on your area. Below it is a drop down menu to pick different views. I used Firefox…

I have been using Classic Shell ever since W8 came out and they also support W10. Not only does it give you lots of options on the start menu, also Windows Explorer/File Windows are customizable. Free for personal use. http://www.classicshell.net/

I think I have been around since the first one. I don't have any images of our main page from back then, but I have one from a report. See below, I had created a main page with iframes and had my own tabs at the top for different tools.

Hey look at me, I'm a great feature. Please vote for me
-
Please vote, I can't believe more people wouldn't like to see this option. Just looking at a link that shows transmit and receive and then in our heads having to visualize or calculate it together to get an idea of total usage is not easy let alone explain to a non technical person. Thanks

With ESX 4.0 Update 1 released, does this alter anything? It looks like they are releasing a new set of ESX SNMP MIBs with this version that can be imported into an SNMP management system like NPM. Do these new MIBs resolve the issues you guys have been having with ESX 4? Just setup one up today and still doesn't see it as…

Thanks to this post, I'm no longer hitting my head against my desk in frustration. (well, about this one issue anyway) I second that this could be better documented. I agree too that it should be noted in the documentation under upgrades. I ran into this a few years back and it needs to be done after every upgrade that I…

I've also noticed that my alerting is no longer working. Okay, ignore that comment. I figured out alerting. The problem was between the chair and the keyboard. PEBKAC = Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair en.wikipedia.org/.../PEBKAC

You may want to consider configuring a Loopback interface as Don suggested earlier in this thread and monitor the loopback ip address. Otherwise, your NPM is going to show the router as down if the ethernet interface goes down. This will avoid so many headaches later. Set the loopback address, use that for ALL router…

I too would like to voice my concern on the pricing. Way back, a long long time ago there was a thread about adding a tab to NPM to open IP Address management that showed the exported html version from the EE toolset. I posted about what I was able to get one of my programers to build our own web interface to the EE…

Send me a PM BakerD, I have some ideas I want to run past you Uh, I must be missing something, I don't see anyway to send a PM. Looks like I can contact you via email under your profile, is that what you meant?

That did it. Simple to see now and I just wonder why I didn't pick up on that option :). Thanks Martin

Ok, I got it figured out. I believe it was a few different issues. One was with only one particular site. If I disabled CEF, it would work. Rebooting the router, clearing/resetting the CEF DB, etc had no effect. I upgraded the IOS and it started working. So either that IOS was buggy or CEF was corrupt somehow. I have…

Sorry if these have already been mentioned, but I just skimmed the thread. Option to set a time for the scans to run. For ones that say run once a day or week etc, but able to say you want it to run at a certain time. I would rather keep network traffic down during the day and run these type of scans at night. Thanks

Is it possible on images to: 1. Send to back 2. Bring to front Thanks

I stand corrected, I can't ping from a DOS prompt. It seems like it has a stuck route. I rebooted the poller server and no difference. If I can on other servers in the same vlan/network or even my PC that is on a another network can ping and traceroute just fine. So it is something specific with my NPM/poller server. It's…

So you want to add your own tabs/label section like we use for modules? Yes The links in the nav bar not working? Yes, I have few links to external sites like Thwack already in the Nav bar, but with currently 13 views/links in the nav bar, it is pretty busy and squished on smaller screens. It would be nice to add your own…

Here is the error I'm getting..... Can someone post the hotfix? I was provided a secure authenticated link via email, so I think it would be best to contact support for the hotfix. Also they can verify if it is right for your setup. If they wanted it public, they would have provided it or maybe they will after further…

My idea was to create a custom field called OmitAlerts and then set the value to true on subnets I wanted omitted from the alert. I have messed around with the alert triggered conditions and it just doesn't seem to work right. The alert always seems to get suppressed for everything no matter what I put in there. What is…

Hello BakerD, Each HTTP Monitor component has a URL field that contains a default url looking like: http://${IP}:${PORT}/ This will create a url that contains the IP of the Orion Node, and that's the value passed within the host headers. To achieve what you're looking for, you'll need to visit each component's URL and…

yep, turns out SolarWinds tweaked the internal workings of the resource files slightly... Are you going to update your integration site/documents? I have already had requests for the change.

Downloaded V9, read this thread and 8.5.1 is still running just fine ;). Sorry, just had to do that.

Not sure if this has ever been brought up, but how about adding a Custom Module that would allow us to fill with whatever we want and name it what we want? MODULES: IP Address Manager My Module <-- Name customizable Within that module allow custom html, scripts or whatever. If someone wants to just bring in a whole…

Ah yes those are all green. I have applied that template to about 10 servers and all but a few are all green on those three port monitors. It seems it is just the POA stats that aren't working. The one I'm working with now is a 2012 server as before I think it was 2008. So if I can get one or two working, then I can back…
