I'm curious if this is still a thing? Seems like there should be a checkbox or something that makes the NOC view the default for a user that has been assigned that view. Feature request?

I would check here: Different things for different users, for me personally i saw the same thing on a specific version of NPM with respect to the X2 10gig gbics and cisco not tracking that specific value. My problem went away when I upgraded NPM.

How about a universal device poller using OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.23.1.2.1.1.6.* **edit You could also in a round of bout sort of way also get the same information from the "Network Connectivity" resource, then you wouldn't have to write a UDP and you would also clearly have the interfaces they connect on. Where as with a UDP…

I just wanted to throw this in for Joe in case its not know, but Microsoft has announced with Server 2012 that SNMP is depreciated. Preferring instead WMI. Also SW has made more detailed information for things like drive volume IOPS available to Windows nodes that are polled via WMI. This is in no way related to your…

Does anyone know if this ever became possible? Our setup has netflow causing a bit of a performance problem on our DB server, id love to get this offloaded to another database and really go kind of bonkers with netflow.

Works for Windows 8 also with REGEDIT4 at the top, also appears to work with IE10 and Chrome. I did have an initial problem on Windows 8 and had to create the SSH key in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT first, then it imported fine.

I just wanted to report back, since updating all my false alarms have cleared. 99% of my false positives were on 6500 vss nodes running 12.2(33)SXI or SXJ.

I know this is causing a lot of stress for people, one thing we did to mitigate this while its run down(i hope) is we created a trigger condition to eliminate this from alerting. We are only seeing the issue on our 6500's and in alerting we put all those together and I added "hardware type name is not equal to power…

I would like to add 12.2(33)SXI3 to the list of IOS with this problem. We just experienced it twice.

Since its polling based I would say no, or at least not without decreasing the polling interval. Even then there is going to be room for error. Depending on the device you could probably mitigate this with logging/syslog/trap but it would be relative to the nature of the problem.

I think you might need the iso included in your view.
