This resolution took care of the same issue while opening the main-web-page to Peformance Monitor. It affected IE7 - and just kept popping up with that error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException Couldn't get passed that what-so-ever. I had already tried other solutions to similar problems: i.e. remove the…

I entered my IP address, and this information is correct. (So it seems to me it's fine.) What I would (really) like to see is something less comprehensive such as this: IP - found on this device - plugged into this port (i.e.) IP - 172.26.140.105 was located on (gc_3750_switch) and plugged into (FastE1/0/11)…

That's It! Works as expected! Thanks, Bill

They're obviously working hard-on it. (Or is that hardly-working on it?) It's only been a couple of months.. Not bad for the prices of the product!

Thank you. I was corrected as it was our UCXX manager that needs monitoring. Any help?

Thanks for the response. Though, the discrepancy differences are opposite of your explaination. RealTime shows bandwidth consumption of say; 14Mb/s and the graphs display consumption of say 1Mb/s and trust me, I'm being overly conservative with my figures. I've attempted to cut/paste the windows as close (in a…

Perfect! (Very Carefully) Looking does it display which port when either is supplied - MAC or IP. Thanks! In Cirrus' Win32 console, please look at the Find IP/Mac functionality. That may be what you are looking for.

Using the "local" (Windows version) of the trap message-viewer - it's empty. Using the Database manager, viewing the traps table (listed under NPM) it's being updated as each trap-message is received. Using the Database manager, viewing the traps table (listed under N_C_M_ it's empty as well. Hope this helps. Bill

Further researching this ... I have NCM _&_ NPM installed Now looking at my database, (using SolarWinds DB Manager) under the NPM data/table "traps" is where all the received trap messages are being stored. Viewing the traps table (using SolarWinds DB Manager) looking in the NCM database/table - the "traps" table is empty.…

I've discovered this symptom: If the (Orion System Manger) Win32 application is open _and_ anyone has a web-page open - when attempting to "view node details" or change any of those options - does the "The Application is Busy" dialog open with the "Switch" | "Retry" access error - and if it's not carefully realized this is…

Never-mind, restarting a few of the other services, (NetMon and IIS) seems to have taken care of this issue.
