My issue is I have an installation of several hundred switches in NCM. I also have 3 or 4 admins who create and run jobs. But as we make jobs to run changes, or upgrades, we tend to copy other folks jobs. Maybe we overwrite it instead of duplicating it, etc. So I end up with 30 jobs where I only have 6 or 8 that I care…

Have you gotten any satisfaction with this request? I have the same issue, but my interfaces have custom properties, and they work fine. But as you say, groups don't share the same. But even so, the custom properties of the interfaces I monitor are valid but are not shown. There seems to be no way to sort the group…

Hi this was asked 4 years ago. Did you get any answer?
-
BTW, the Palo Reference for this is: PAN-OS 10.1 Administrative Session Cipher Suites (paloaltonetworks.com) we are using V10.x
-
Plus it seems to make my graphics card reset or something. I get a black screen then it comes back to a blank white screen in the map editor. I need to reload the page to make it work.
-
Below is an example. When I create a group that has all switches, firewalls, routers, it seems to want to try to make it work. But many nodes don't connect.

Thanks. So, a) is it supposed to work, but doesn't? Or is the bug b) I found an "unsupported feature" which isn't in the current release. or c) the string should parse, but it doesn't because it hogs CPU and that's the bug? THanks, A

Is there a way to test an individual macro / variable on a particular host? Or with NCM, a particular config file? I know you can test the rule against a device config, but is there a separate "here's all the variables, test them here".
-
And now, after trying the macros they mention, which hose-up the sevice process, I reverted to ${AgentIP} and instead of replacing it with one IP, it just says "${AgentIP} was not found". But at least the service didn't hose-up the server. -A

Hi Giresh, Here you go: Case # - 01209330 "${AgentIP}" NCM macro/variable stopped working in 2022.3? THanks, Ambi

My issue with the CGX (Ion3k & Ion7k) is that in the last two weeks, at least 3 or 4 of our 60+ devices show a "controller disconnect" message and SNMP V3 gets from SolarWinds fail. To fix it, I use the elcapitain portal, and get the Ion device view up, click SNMP, click V3 (to disable it), and save, then click V3 (set…

Hi, It's been 8 years, is there any support for RSTP monitoring in Orion 2020.2.5? Is there a separate module, or can NPM do it? THanks, Ambi

I could use this answer too! My issue is global comparison regex works, but it applies to a snippet and the config. So if a config matches outside the snippet, the snippet's matching fails as matches in the config are not in the snippet.
-
Hi, Thanks! The issue I'm having now, is the compare does work when I use the RegEx criteria. But my issue is if I use the "Apply global comparison criteria" and create/edit a regex, it applies to the whole config, not the snippet I'm using. So maybe I have a range of IP addresses on a config line, say "set interface ip…

Is it possible it's referring to the rescue config? (set system configuration rescue save) -Ambi

Hi, I agree, we need CloudGenix SDWan support. I have Ion 7000 and Ion 3000 units. Using version 5.4.3-b9, the SNMP private enterprise ID 50114 is for Cloudgenix. This means you can MIB walk in Solarwinds Orion NPM and expand the tree where the private enterprise MIB has entry 50114. Regards, Ambidexter ========…
