Problem solved: instead of "Reset this alert when trigger condition in no longer true" we created a "special reset condition", put the Wireless Access Point status to UP and check the "condition must exist for more than x minutes". In x we put 2, and now is working fine.

Well, Manilyn, it seems this is not it, I am able to receive emails from outside the company. Also from the internal Solarwinds server I can send an email to my mailbox. Last week we updated both NPM & NCM to the latest versions, so I guess something is not working as it should be...

Thanks for the fast reply, you are right, there are a lot of switches, so yes this is quite a task. Let's say that I am putting the new entries in the end in Cisco switches. The problem is that I have a "deny ip any any log" in the end, so the new entries are placed after this.

You can have a similar report from Network Configuration Manager, menu Reports, view Report, Inventory, select Interfaces and then Modify Report and add fields like Admin & Operational status, Last Change, etc.
