Thanks, and now the question matches up with the hint and its now correct. Yay for not breaking my streak now. Thanks
-
What the hell is going on with question 10? Now when i click it, its a different question completely. Nothing to do with IO Latency. Did someone feed the gremlins after midnight?
-
Oh Come on, a perfect month, and then this. What response was expected on this field?
-
Report on an Application or a Node? Probably something i think i should be able to whip up as i have something close already
-
nooo, it closed before i could do the last 2 questions. shattered!
-
I do not completely trust anyone because they all let you down at some point.(In work that is) I Completely trust my wife because she trusts me.

Hi, No worries on the delay. The solarwinds case was closed as it was determined that there is nothing more that could be done. The case number was #857480 The SAN is now in production so we are actually generating IO on it consistently as we have a SQL database of approx 5TB on there. Thanks for clearing up the EM vs…

haha! I was more meaning someone to get it fixed and close a hole. But anyway wabbott lindsey.serrano would it be one of you that are best to chat to?
-
Todays question seems a bit whacked. How is the IO Latency NOT between 60 and 90? wabbott
-
Question one. Are you sure thats right? NPM and SAM are mentioned in the article. NCM and VMAN are now mentioned anywhere?

Hi Lubo, The Dell Enterprise Manager is Version 2015 R1 Build 15.1.2.45 I am a bit confused about how there could be configuration between Enterprise Manager and SMI-S provider as it seems that Enterprise Manager IS the SMI-S provider? Unless i am missing something here? Caveat: I did not do the SAN deployment, i am just…

well then todays is hard indeed. What the obvious one is isnt working.

Perfect! It was the comma. I never realised that the alert manager adds its own select section at the top, i wrote my query to include the select section and had my in-line table within that! When all i needed to do was ditch the select section and place a comma! Thanks so much buddy! Greatly appreciated. Today i have…

aLTeReGo im on SAM 6.4 and i am still experiencing this issue. Im gaoing to lodge a support ticket but saw this and thought i would provide an update here as well (Support Case #1184827) EDIT: 100% Still An issue, trying to deal with the support guys about it but i dont know what they would be able to do if its the bug…
-
Yeah correct!
-
Agreed! We had a similar issue, support fixed it up in no time.
-
Do this! This is what we use as well across a few hundred servers. We also have some that report a bit earlier based on size of the volume as well. It works well
-
Yeah i tried that, however they are all based on speed / bandwidth. The two columns i specifically want are not available. InterfaceTraffic.In_TotalBytes and InterfaceTraffic.Out_TotalBytes
-
Where did you find that menu option please? I have the same problem and want to see if this resolves the issue for me.
-
Does anyone have a version of the groovy script that handles an un-acknowledge?
-
Any chance i could see your working marid.conf file? im having some real issues getting this integration flowing back into solarwinds. Of course blank your URL, USERNAME, PASSWORD and API KEY. Would be great if you could replace your specific values with the capitalised words so i know where and what information is…

Awesome! I altered it a bit to allow for using multiple vcentres rather than being limited to one. If interested this is the code after alteration. if(-not (Get-PSSnapin VMware.VimAutomation.Core -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue)) { Add-PSSnapin VMware.VimAutomation.Core } ##### Get VC connected ######################…
-
Yeah, this would be great, can this happen?
-
Great to see that there is the V7000 on the list at last! Big sticking point for us! Look forward to seeing it implemented.
-
Is the V7000 on the roadmap as yet? Very eagerly awaiting this to be supported.
-
Heres mine. Nothing to special except my fish bowl!

I Agree, i have just hit the issue in my environment and would like to null the Provisioned Capactiy Alert for Arrays as well. We allocate 100% Of our storage into the arrays at some sites and manage it from a disk level. Especially when it is an ESX datastore.
