Yes, it is because the software is single threaded and cannot handle someone making administrative changes in the System Manager and keep up with Polling a large number of elements. Any word on possible enhancing or fixing this issue? The SolarWinds developers would make my life 100% better if this single threaded issue…

It is too slow. I have 5 polling engines and using the web page can be like watching the grass grow. What are you trying to alert on in the traps? I have created several stored procedures to alert on traps sent from vSphere alarms and even Loadbalancer failovers, etc... All done through SQL. Hit me up if you want to discuss.

I don't know if that will solve the issue. If 1 person logs on to the manager and the data comes up missing in spots, would the web console really fix that?

I was just about to submit a request for this exact same thing. Being with a large company there are many network people that acknowledge alerts and should not. I need a way to find out who acknowledged the alert and when.

I can tell you from experience going over the recommended environment is not suggested. The maximum number of recommended pollers is 1 primary SLX and 5 additional polling engines.
