I would LOVE to use a "2-way" filter... Meaning, i would like to include some things, AND not include others, at the same time... I would like to ONLY see information regarding IP Group ABC, AND not see IP Group XYZ within those results. Sometimes we want to see various types of traffic within groups, but also do not want…

I heard implemented... oh.. never mind... I see what just happened...

"1 week of training = 3 weeks of catchup work," strange math thread bump...

I wasn't sure, so figured I would just throw it out there... makes a bunch more sense now... lol

It would also be nice to be able to group sets of properties together, being able to hide/collapse the group of properties. #bumpsquad should recruit meech & serena too...

DanielleH Best of luck to you and the team on this transition. THWACKnation stands by, ready to assist where we can!

Sounds good to me!

Great stuff here, KMSigma! Between allowing data to be gathered via PowerShell and SWQL, SCM is quickly becoming super powerful. SCM feels like it could eventually be the missing link, being able to check the data deep down into the cracks, where some of the other, bigger, tools slow down or can't get to.

daveb7114 Excellent request... We have asked SolarWinds for this feature several times... as well as being able to add existing pages to new pages...

Actually, Orion already knows this information... If you build an additional polling engine, all of the stats for that new APE are 0... Then, if you were to move only a single node onto that new APE, and give it a few minutes, all of those polling stats would update, giving you the total costs of polling that node, as well…

Let's just leave it at Orion/Core, and run it across the board, for all products... PLEASE!!! Historical View of Applications Is There A Way To View The Status Of The Entire Network/SolarWinds Environment, At Any Given Moment In History? We just need a "simple" rewind/fast forward of our environment, pretty much how any…

This has been a long requested feature. There are numerous requests for this exact functionality... And I vote for them all! I still don't understand why this isn't a thing yet. It seems like such an easy win.

long overdue...

I think this is where I made the changes on my dev server. "C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds\settings.json" and "C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\Configuration\Settings\Core.Settings.json" Just search for "ForcePluginsInSeparateProcess" then change first "False" that comes after... Make sure to stop all services first,…

I agree, your methods appear to be a good solution, however, as a user, I would definitely expect all of my resources to allow me to filter results, when they are pulling back multiple points of data.

monitoringlife Also, just in case you haven't seen this page yet, it's a pretty nice little gathering of cool things to do with your SolarWinds environment. Eric (CourtesyIT) does a good job of updating that melting pot whenever he finds new stuff, or when folks tag him on new content. It's definitely a wonderful, all…
