Try this link for a hint... www.ibm.com/.../storage_chrono20.html

Depends on the nature of the problem.
-
I got the same error even though I didn't select that.
-
Am I completely missing the answer in the hint for Day 16 or is the hint not correct?
-
Did not get points for Oct 10 or 11

Reread the question and look at ALL the answers.

Thank-you...my brain was stuck on IC.

I would look for something that refers to typical SQL record/row functions like Insert, Update, Delete, Fetch, returned, ect.

Nice read. Technical debt doesn't just apply to software/coding. It can also apply to hardware/infrastructure. Luckily this technical debt is usually easier to "payoff" and correct.
-
Very excited for this release. Scheduling a maintenance window for the upgrade/install.

In our instance, the Marking departments has a domain (let's call it mydomain1.com). Then they register a second domain (mydomain2.com) and set up the website to use a 301 redirect so http://mydomain2.com redirects you to https://mydomain1.com. So you cannot just change the DNS point because they are flipping it from http…

Yeah, nothing happens. Was hoping for some free points...lol.

For 18 Across think broader. Think about the whole device not a component of the device.

@"yumdarling", I voted on today's poll but it is not giving me the green check mark

You should be able to create a rule in Orion to drop those events.
-
We are blowing away the old; but not sure on the server names.
-
We have not asked that; but none of the security advisories indicate the DB was compromised.
-
@"bshopp"are you saying the file does have HF2 just the wrong date is listed?
-
We were told we could use the DB; just need to do a fresh install of the Orion server (OS and application).
-
Unfortunately my CISO will not accept it unless the date is update. He is holding Solarwinds accountable.
-
Both of those are dated Aug. My Security team is refusing them.
-
If you are monitoring interfaces on the switch(es), you can monitor the stack ring interface and get alerts if one goes down.
-
If your Security Team will allow it, you can give the Azure server a PIP with a NSG to secure it. With A PIP assigned, Azures allows outbound ICMP traffic.
-
What type of switch is it? You should be able to trigger something off of SNMP traps or syslogs without having to monitor every interface. If an interface gets shut or no shut it will log it. If you are sending your logs from the switch, you can create an alert on the log.
