You do have an 'export to csv' on your Database Manager
-
Post SNMP Configuration did you restart the SNMP Service on the device end ? Give it a try - sometimes when you set the attributes on snmp security tab and try to test the same on Solarwinds the test fails - try restarting the SNMP Service and then check if the snmp test is passing on Solarwinds
-
is there a way to check the timestamp till what time it has been disabled on the DB (for that particular disk/sensor) you are talking about?
-
do you have some kind of a unmanage schedule in place which runs on a daily basis ?
-
Advanced Alert Manager -> Use 'Type of Property to Monitor: Interface' , give specific conditions that you want to check on Trigger Condition
-
I dont think its an issue with Alert Manager - looks like the issue is restricted to Alert Manager application only, existing alerts would be working as expected. (Alert Manager is working fine but probably your app is crashing) I saw few similar posts on solarwinds knowledgebase , check them - raise a support case if…
-
Not pretty clear on the query that you have posted, active alerts can still be pulled from Solarwinds but not the one's that have cleared unless you are logging it separately in your actions.
-
The link pasted above doesnt exist anymore - do we know what was the solution provided to fix this issue?
-
HolyGuacamole is absolutely right
-
So far you are on track (Check Point 2 and 3 to complete your activity): 1. Template creation done , deploy it on all the server/nodes that you have mentioned 2. Create an alert on APM Component In trigger action you have to check for the component name used in your template and you have to check for its status down or…

Can you see them now ? Did you add the blade's onto Solarwinds ?
-
Query that you posted: Do I suppose to manually monitor each blade ? Solution to your query is YES, you will have to add all those blade's manually as nodes onto Solarwinds. Then on you would be able to see all under UCS Overview and you can navigate from there.
-
ok got it, if you have those blade ip's with you add them onto Solarwinds as a separate node and then check your UCS Overview page.
-
On the first view UCS Overview Click on blade-1 which is under chasis-1 , check if you get a manage prompt directly. If not get the blade ip's and add them onto Solarwinds.
-
Just a sec , did you click on chasis or blade (Looks like you clicked on chasis)? Click on the blade and see if you get a manage prompt. If not add the blade manually as i suggested.
-
Ok got you, each blade would have an IP if I am not wrong. Add this blade onto Solarwinds manually and then check what you see.
-
Yes that's correct, just click on the blade probably it would prompt stating to add , if not add each of those blades onto Solarwinds and then on the stats would be collected for the same.
-
Are the blade's being monitored in Solarwinds ?

Similar to the post mentioned below: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/message/155946#155946 Cool I guess its possible not really sure how, let me check if I can find something on this, thanks todd

What exactly are you looking for when you say "default unmanage window". I am really not sure if something like this exist in Solarwinds. Probably it could be an unmanage window that is set in your environment (They could have used Unmanage Scheduling Utility to set this window you are talking about) , if you could give me…

There were a couple of idea's posted wrt the same, to the best of my knowledge we don't have a permanent solution for now (we have several workarounds though ) https://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/3282 https://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/1032

I guess its working as expected, I see different Labels on your screenshot (C,D,E) and hence it is treating them as separate drive's, there are 2 ways to resolve this: 1. Do a list resource on the node uncheck everything on list resource and submit the same. Wait for one polling cycle check from node view if old drives…
-
Yup, that's correct
-
1. Goto Settings -> Manage views -> Select the view that you have created -> Click on Edit 2. Click on + symbol on the column you require the report 3. Search for 'Report' in the Search Tab -> Select 'Report from Orion Report Writer' -> Click on 'Add Selected Resources' 4. You would see 'Report from Orion Report Writer'…

You would find them on Advanced Alert Manager as well
-
Your SAM Application monitor is not running as expected, check why your "SNMP Service Monitor - Windows on" is not working. Are you using Windows Service Monitor component in which you are checking if snmp service is up or down? If yes the fetching method on this component would either be WMI or RPC and that might not…
-
What type of Alert have you created ?
-
On node side as well check if your poller host/ip is added onto "Accept SNMP packets from these hosts" on SNMP Service. They might have restricted it to certain hosts as part of Security. Once you are done with this, remove admin provide proper comm string and test it again.
-
Try to do an SNMP Walk from your poller, login into your poller you would find "SnmpWalk.exe" under <installation directory>\Solarwinds\Orion. Try to do a walk onto the node you are trying to add, check if the node responds to the walk.
