@santhoshadapa - @Lofstrand post is accurate, but test it out on one of your nodes, if you are using SNMP to monitor the devices once there is a change in IP revalidate if all resources are accurate, be it your volumes/interfaces/device info. In certain cases I have noticed resources becoming obsolete which might need…

Custom property population can also be automated through SolarWinds Alerts, there are some great comments on this post, but then can you as well go to your alerts and check if you have any alerts which are specifically created to auto populate the values on these Custom properties.

I haven't yet checked this, but then yes you are absolutely correct as the structure in 2025.4 has changed from the previous versions. 2025.4 allows multiple mute/unmanage schedules which wasn't available in the previous versions, what that means is in the past if you apply a mute on the same device twice the latest one…

Check for response from @greskamh that should work as expected, if that is not what you want you can as well enable complex condition (under advanced) and separate these 2 in 2 separate blocks with an AND.
-
Rather than a complex condition I think this can be achieved by having separate syslog processing rules/tags. If you have 3 different processing rules each specific to one scenario you can use them with an AND clause on your alert. As well look at Evaluate Frequency of the Alert - the default is 1 min right, so in your…

Sorry for the typo :) for some reason I can't edit it I would like to see the ability to keep the Maps on SolarWinds up to date without any manual intervention

KevAI or SolAI sounds great - thumbs up from me on either one of them :)

Nice :) Sigma is also a common word used by Gen Alpha :) I am as well good with KevinAI or KevAI :) OR if you want to link it back to keep the name related to something related to SolarWinds - SolAI looks good :) Or something weirder like Solar Flares or FlareAI or SolFAI lol
-
I don't think you have direct option to achieve this in SolarWinds, I do see a few responses above which is absolutely correct, but then it also depends on your environment. Now when you say I don't want device down alerts when entire site goes down, firstly do you have a specific naming convention for your device names ?…

ah ha, good one, I never noticed this. Thank you.

Good to see your post after a while Kevin, hope you are doing good, cool achievement. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you buddy :)

I upgraded from 2024.4.1 to 2025.4, I havent seen any issues with my AWS (Additional Web Servers). I will be upgrading to 2025.4.1, will keep you posted on the same. From which version did you go to 2025.4.1 ?
-
When did you first see this error ? Is it post windows patching ? If yes make sure you reboot your SolarWinds windows servers after patching. You can do it by as well restarting the required SolarWinds Servers but then if can reboot your SolarWinds once in a month post patching that would keep your application healthy as…
-
Its totally upto you, but then I would suggest to go with "Observability Self-Hosted" exams rather than the traditional module exams.
-
In which version did you first encounter this issue? If you are stating this has been like that through several upgrades, then it could be something more serious, and my best bet would be vendor support case. As well if its something to do with performance issues, it could be easy to find that out, as soon as you reboot…

This could be an issue/bug on your Cisco FPR / FTD, there are details which state them as well, which is why SolarWinds might not be getting the right response from it Configure SNMP on Firepower NGFW Appliances - Cisco The only other approach that I can think of is through UNDP - even for this (say suppose you have the…
-
What version are you running on ? Is this now resolved? Looks like an issue, there are a few things that you can try, or best case is to raise a case with SolarWinds.
-
lifetime points would be good to have rather than available points :)

New Platform looks good, still getting used to it. Looks like I am having the same issue, points are stuck, any replies on posts or other activities don't see points be added to the account. The new THWACK platform comes with an updated points system, and you’ll still be able to earn and spend points in the THWACK Store.…

Sorry maybe a stupid query - "Improved Recurring Maintenance Windows" - since we can now create multiple mute windows, is there a way to get rid of the existing ones ? If I have 5 schedules in place for an entity and I want to delete 2 mute windows amongst the 5, do we currently have an option to do so ?
-
Looks like it's still available. I can still see it on solarwinds.com site, probably it's just that all the licenses are now subscription based. Network Topology Mapper - Network Mapping Software | SolarWinds
