does this step email the tech assigned to that ticket? I actually opened a support case and they told me this cannot be done. The email can only be be sent to predefined users. can you share how you did this?

I think what is being stated is you cant set split shifts or different times on different days. Example you cant set Tech A to work 8am - 4pm Monday and Tuesday and 1pm - 10 pm on Wednesday, Example 2: you cant set a Tech A to work 9am -1pm then 4pm -8pm on the same day. (split shift)

If you signed up for the BETA you should have gotten the email yesterday with installers for both WHD and Dameware. I already updated my test instance of WHD to 12.2. They are running Java 7 on the backend and the FAQ section of the software was moved to the new frontend. WHD 12.2 and Dameware 11.1 Beta Available!

I have had multiple techs internally ask how to do this. Having to click the person to change from User to Tech and back is a bit cumbersom.

It appears that this included in the 1.7 build of the IOS app (iOS App (Web Help Desk Mobile 1.7.0) bshopp this status should probably be changed from WWWO to implemented?

For example 1: I am pretty certain that this is not how this feature works as it is currently implemented. Once you make a change to the work schedule and save it that becomes the new schedule. There is not a way to "build" a schedule by checking individual days and changing the hours all that does is change the schedule..…

dwatson this feature was confirmed for the next release V12.6 and is in the pre release beta stage now. It should not be too much longer until it is out of beta and GA.

Some of this was started in the 12.2 release last year. They added asset reporting, in addition the asset report type runs in a separate thread for performance improvement, and the asset reports run in a different and newer engine as well.
