We have been running on 12.6 (without hotfix 1) for quite some time and have no major issues. 12.7.1 RC 2 seems pretty stable but i would wait a couple more weeks for the final build.

The way we do it partly since we set this up way before 12.3 so the task improvements mentioned above were not in the product yet was to use an approval process for one ticket instead of creating a bunch.

What version did you move from --> to? Just a thought is to log in as the default admin tech and rerun the ldap sync on your domain and see if rebuilds the user sequence.

The only question I would have for that is what is the likyhood it gets blow away with an upgrade? For the custom CSS or icons if you do anything outside look and feel in setup it gets reset upon upgrades. Just something to remember.

You could put the tech as "on vacation" then assign a backup tech. This makes any tickets that would go the on vacation person go to the backup automatically.

I will second the request on the note background colors. If you have a ticket with many notes and you don't have that it gets annoying to know who is saying what.

You should probably open a support ticket to see if there is any workaround or if this is something they missed in the feature design. This thread is like 2 years old well before 12.6 with checklisting was available.

This is correct. Tech side does not change only the client side. Click the blue person silhouette in the upper right if your logged in as a tech to flip between the two sides.
