Solarwinds say they are still tracking our points, but where can WE find them? They used to be shown when clicking on our profile icon in the upper right, but now nowhere to be found.

I'm having a hard time remembering when the THWACK Store was last available… does anyone else know?

Congrats sflynn !

Even Facebook and Firefox want it gone... Flash. Must. Die. | WIRED

So if we choose not to participate in the June mini-mission (and give SW our social networking information) we don't get to participate in this (or possibly any other) missions??
-
Will there be a link clearly posted for the event when it's supposed to begin? I've had issues in the past where I registered for something, then I came to the site and there was no clear way to get to it.

See haikus arrive Odes to Mom overrun THWACK Many things are worse

And here I was thinking that a contest was something where each person had to do their own work...
-
Same here. I know the answer's right from the hint, but no taco.

That is one of the coolest-looking shirts SW has put together. Any chance it'll show up in the store if we don't end up winning one?

Windows7 x64 I've tried Chrome 43.0.2357.81 m, Firefox 38.0.5 and IE11.

I happen to know that one of LEM's larger competitors uses HTML5 for their product... <hint hint>

If you're getting a Tesla, we are now fighting.

Finally got it...

Since you can share the credentials between multiple users, we've decided to implement cookies-based access limitation, so you won't be able to run Toolset on the Web from 2 browsers using the same username.. What if I'm a security conscious guy and I wipe my cookies regularly?

Funny thing is, I just heard a news story about how 60% of the traffic on the internet isn't even human... it's bots generating traffic and crawling sites.
-
Wait... the teaser's coming soon, or coming soon is the teaser.... I'M SO CONFUSED!
-
Sadly it is but a screenshot. I really liked the show too.

August 17th (today's) question says I've already answered... but I haven't... ?
-
Here is the bacon reference you were waiting for. You can thank me later.

Curious that you don't like port 80, since using 443 / SSL makes DPI a bit difficult. You can of course try to use the proxy / MitM method, but in my experience there are sites that have halfway-decently implemented security that don't play well when they see MitM going on.

There is a small degree of duh-factor to the answers.

I'm always surprised when I find rouge access points... usually they're beige or black-ish...

Missed question:

Cool idea. With most of the agent-based monitors I've seen there's a degree of overhead; what is the projected overhead per-application (or whatever model you use)?
-
From the original post: 150 points are being awarded for each correctly answered question. There are 20 questions which means you can earn a maximum of 3,000 points for this mission. * Points/badges will be added to profiles once the mission has closed.

I didn't put anything in the GNS3 field and it said I got the points.
-
May be just me... but is Question 7 the same as Question 6 was? Or am I having one of those deja-vu-meets-aphasia moments?
-
Correct for this system (the unfiltered laptop)...

When I first recall seeing those (not too long after the original movie came out) I think they were about the same price. Wish they'd come down a bit!
