Hello, What is the system locale of the Orion server?
-
The verb should return a boolean for each request. Note all nodes may support polling for asset inventory and it will vary with the installed modules. It may be worth considering a 'List Resources' operation against those nodes and parsing the results for asset…

When you say Cloud Accounts, to what are you referring?
-
Hello, Form what I can tell, the updatewithcontent verb is used for updating credential types used by PaloAlto REST API polling. What is the cloud credential type you are seeing listed as in Orion.Credentials?
-
Thanks for sharing. Is there any particular pattern to this behavior? Having made the change to an alert, how long has passed before determining it is not triggering?
-
@"tilde39" Thank you for reporting this. Can you confirm if you are running the RC or GA version?
-
@"karamsad12" Inspired by and heavily borrowed from the great work of @"adatole" here https://www.adatosystems.com/2019/12/30/advanced-reporting-part-1-re-creating-the-all-alerts-resource-with-extras/ The data model I have used for the All alerts table widget is: SELECT DISTINCT NodeCP.Importance,…

@"sreenathmp" The number of elements/components per polling engine remains the same which is 12k/~10k respectively. Stacking options are also still valid. It is the ceiling which has been increased. For example, to achieve the previous limit of 400,000 elements would require a minimum of 33 additional polling engines. As…

There are a few things I could suggest if you have not already done so: * Verify short name resolution between the 2 servers * Check the engines table to ensure there aren’t two main pollers listed there. (Can happen if you have previously migrated the Orion server) If you need more guidance on the 2 items above please let…
-
@"sreenathmp" The total number of polling engines remains at 100, it is the total number of elements/components per poller which has increased. These numbers are only valid for anyone running the 2020.2 version regardless of it being an upgrade or a new install.…

@"cfizz34" We are currently in the planning stages for ThwackCamp and can certainly look at doing something more targeted. Are there particular workflows you are struggling with?
-
@"acandell" The only method available right now to rename a dashboard is as you describe. I will add a +1 for a custom HTML widget which I am tracking internally.

The applied transform should have a visible change on the data you are viewing however the selected transforms are not saved as part of the project definition https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/Success_Center/orionplatform/Content/Core-Create-Performance-Analysis-Charts.htm#Display I have created an interval FR to…
-
What version of NPM and Orion Platform are you using? Is there by any chance a duplicate of the canned alert which is also enabled? It may be worth opening a support case to investigate.
-
@"shocko" Both Report Lab and Alert Lab exist on thwack today https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/Report-Lab/ct-p/report-lab https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/Alert-Lab/ct-p/alert-lab however, for the pure SWQL/SQL used there is no specific content exchange.

I do not believe this is possible. Ticket status is not in anyway linked to approval process or request types for which visibility can be defined at the company, department and location level. Ticket status types are available for all tickets.
-
Is this the documentation you are referring to ? https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/Success_Center/SAM/Content/SAM-Windows-Scheduled-Task-Monitor-sw2577.htm if so, do you see 'windows scheduled tasks' during discovery or by listing the resources for a node? It looks like you are running an older version of Server &…

Is time across your clients/servers in sync?

In the absence of any admin privileges may be challenging to gather any meaningful metrics. As a start, I would recommend looking through the following guide which should help facilitate the process with your DBAs/sysadmins…

Thanks for the Step by Step. Testing against 2020.2 I see similar results, although to get the error you see I must alter CompressedRowID="10.199.20.1" to CompressedRowID='10.199.20.1' The URI looks like…

@"Seashore" By chance, if you toggle the browser bookmarks bar does it affect this behavior?
-
@"keegen" 1. Additional widgets types are certainly being researched and an Orion Maps widget is certainly bright on the radar for future improvements. 2. Proportional Charts have the option of a user-defined color for each segment which accepts hex code colors such as #FF8C00

The msi versions for windows can be found here. https://github.com/solarwinds/OrionSDK/releases Let us know if you have any issues installing. This is one of my favourite docs to get up to speed if you need it. https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/Product-Blog/Intro-to-API-SDK-SWQL/ba-p/506794

@"chrisorourke" Thanks for sharing your dashboard its looks great! I have tried this in my lab and it works well when there are the values are all the same length however to achieve what you need would look better by creating two separate widgets as the overflow depends on the width of the text within the KPI cell. There…
-
@"hansolo" Thanks for the feedback. The points you raise are all consistent with my hopes for improvements to the modern dashboard framework. The intention is not to replace classic summary views in any way for now, although additional functionality such as a maps widget/filtering/subviews could perhaps go a long way…

Hi @"keegen" The Orion Language Pack Development Kit is a set of PowerShell-based scripts designed for exporting existing and deploying or reverting custom language packs for SolarWinds Orion-based product(s) which will be available when we GA the release. It provides users with the tools necessary to collect resource…

What is the initial SWQL query you are using to create the URI?
-
@"mbrandon32" That’s hardly normal. Something else may be going on here. If you have not already done so could you open a support case and share the case number with me?. That’s a lot of resources for an AWS to be consuming.
-
The most appropriate alert for what you described is "Alert me when a component is goes down" This is a canned alert with Server & Application Monitor and will provide you with the name of the affected component. When creating the application template you have the ability to rename individual components

How are you testing the call? There should be no difference between accounts, here you can see the guest account authorizing and returning data.
