When the Belgium Chocolate delivery drone collides with the Georgian Organic Peanut Butter drone - who gets the copyright on the air-peanutbutter-cups? You flew your chocolate into my peanut butter. No you flew your peanut butter into my chocolate!

When I am tired and there is so much chatter about folks' ambiguity about the question it makes me apprehensive about my own answers. I don't know why, it is just Thwack points after all and a chance for a prize. Yet the over achieving geek in me simply hates getting a question wrong. I am compelled to understand why I got…

I seriously doubt the Cindy in our accounting department would know what FaceBook is, unless it was the Financial Accounting Compliance Examination Book.

@dsmidnight Congratulations.

Only 3 out of 4 because of the $500 difference on page 5 and 6!

Hey DanielleH I think I have the same issue. My username is "tom iannelli" with a space and I didn't see the points for March or April, but I didn't do much in March.

Curious as to what provision MS used to get relief or reparations to impact FB's "assets"? Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA) - Internet Law Treatise From the perspective of the law how was Microsoft impacted by FB's activities? As they would have to be an affected party in order to bring suit otherwise they have now…

@"Dez" - We always do a lot of cooking in our home and we have a dozen things on our list of "Hey, we should make that!" from all the cooking shows and old Bon Appetit magazines. The only new thing we made so far is an Apple Tarte Tatin. We tried this variation with only quartering the apples. While it tasted fine, we want…

The Collector Flow exporter sends records towards me, Constantly packets arrive on my listening port, The analysis application wants what I have, Data neatly organized in my database, To make the reports the two legged ones want, I am The Collector!

Wonderful time and hopefully shared some useful information with folks, I know I enjoyed the level of professional respect between all the participants. So next year it is looking like Bocce Tournament at Rocky's, Softball Game if kbongi organizes it, and who knows what surprises the MVPs will have in store for the…

Congrats. A co-worker of mine just welcomed a new son this year. The pandemic definitely had a impact on how things went, changed the whole plan. Thank goodness for midwives! The biggest change is we "see" our families more now. We reach out to both sides every two weeks, alternating between my wife's and mine. So we at…

This is not the answer to today's question.....

Bravo to the team for the great graphics. I love the fact someone thought to put in the old SolarWInds.net CD/DVD case. I remember getting 50 of those delivered to my old job. These many years later I wish I had one myself somewhere.

I also have a script that will use the Send-MgUserMail PowerShell command that will demonstrate the policy is working as you expect.

So I deal with certificates a lot and I found it very odd the system could not find my certificate I issued and is in the Computer's local store. I ran Sysinternals' ProcMon to watch the service executable and filtered on the path containing "Certificate." What I found is that the service is not looking in the MY folder at…

You can transform the Universal poller on that OID to get the Number of Days the system has been up: Truncate((({hrSystemUptime}/100)/3600)/24,4) or Truncate((({hrSystemUptime}/8640000),4) This gives you 4 decimal places which gets you down into milliseconds, if you need it.

I checked and the Palo Alto firewall is using the standard seconds = ticks/100. Our firewall responded with 321780053. Using PowerShell [because it is easy] $TS = New-Timespan -Seconds (321780053/100) $TS Days : 37 Hours : 5 Minutes : 50 Seconds : 1 Milliseconds : 0 Ticks : 32178010000000 TotalDays : 37.2430671296296…

Well, that depends on the system reporting it. The reference for the OID says it returns TICKS. On some systems a TICK=SECONDS/100 it is different on others. The OID that Cisco uses is hundredths of a second. So, a PYTHON conversion might look like: >>> # Timedelta function demonstration<br />>>> from datetime import…

@"jasonf1971" Just curious if you a using quotes when you define the email address. In RFC 5322 the use of the & and other special characters are permitted but then the address needs to be a quoted-string. The dot-atom address of joe.jane.blogg@example.com works without quotes. You may need to have it look like this…

This means that my dash board query now matches the polled numbers perfectly!

Oh you GLORIOUS B_ _TARDS! I decided on a whim to set the FireWall ID for those bogus records to one of the actual firewall ids. Then the darnedest thing happened. The URI populated as it should. So now your script works like we expect it to @"KMSigma.SWI" ! The Table that contained the NULL values…
-
So I found the table and edited it in SQL Management Studio to add a fake firewall ID to the records in question. The problem now is find where in the database that SWIS URI is located. I am hunting it down. But in SWQL Studio it is an Inherited or linked property. Trying to find it in SQL Management Studio has been…

Did that once. Sent Destiny a bunch or gear we were disposing of. She paid shipping for the two boxes. What are you interested in? Shoot me an email and if we dispose of similar gear perhaps we can work something out.
