DPA can monitor 99 DBs but MS Access ain't one! (I'm not liable if you take this comment as fact. )

Looks like mini-mission was a mistake, It was a re-run of last months, and has been taken down.
-
raymondo I was just about to post this but you beat me to it. I feel like a lot of the questions this month have been very difficult to understand to the point that they are almost intentionally misleading! A remote location or cloud app is almost by definition "outside the firewall." Luckily today I decided to double…

Yay new mini mission. Also I am 100% behind the whirley-pop! This is the one true way to make popcorn!
-
So I want to say congrats to tk42one for winning that sweet lego set. However I have to ask tk42one, why aren't you at your post?

Can anyone clarify how long the voucher is good for? I'd like to grab it at the discount price but I'd like to know if I have a month or a year or something in between to study for it.

Well, got my red X for yesterday's questions. I even waited until today because I felt like I was missing something. All 5 answers seemed correct. I ended up assuming it was a small technicality that made one of them wrong. I went for REST APIs because the linked hint didn't specifically call out external links for APIs,…

Thanks @"yumdarling"! All green checks for the week now! Woot!

I have several youtube channels I follow that run through a lot of the latest technologies, and for networking I enjoy listening to the packet pushers podcast. I'm also often tasked at work with solving some fairly unique problems, so google research is my friend and I find a lot of new ideas that way. Leaning on trusted…

So just catching up for the week and did Monday's question for Nov 16th. Thank you thank you thank you Solarwinds for using the Wilhelm scream! Made my day! @"yumdarling" Please let whichever genius made that call know that I appreciated it!
-
I did the same thing. I think this is one of those I heard at some point along my career and thought it was so dumb that it was just great!
-
Trying to take the mission shortcut survey, tried in chrome and IE. Last question is to fill out contact information but it has radio buttons instead of a place to actually write in the information. Closed out and waiting for it to be fixed. Looking forward to more questions and for the store to come back! Hopefully I'll…

I was convinced today's question was a setup. I spent way to long double checking my answer. Even spent time on wiki verifying the first consumer bluetooth device.

Just wrote up my review for NCM. I know you have to create an account with G2 but come on people! Go review it to earn money for Girls Who Code. It's a great organization!!!!! DO IT NOW!!!! If you use multiple products listed? Review them all! It only takes your time and it's good money to a great cause!
-
yumdarling Thanks for fixing the question before I got to it! Also congrats on the little one! Always an exciting and at the same time completely draining experience! (Source: 3 kiddos of my own, and my wife who is amazing making it through those times with them!)
-
grizzlyferrett How did you answer the question? Hint just takes me to a 404?
-
I'm more of a fan of get it anyway and ask for forgiveness. A good SQL cluster will come in handy later and save your company from something, then you'll be the hero for having the foresight to put it in anyway! (You may no longer work at the company but they'll still think of you as a hero.)
-
bobmarley I don't think anything is malicious, but sometimes it does seem like the questions are intentionally designed to mess with people who are overly pedantic or tough for non-native English speakers to interpret.
-
asheppard970 I went with firefly: Jayne does the math - YouTube
-
@"melonizame" I can't specifically answer your concern without giving away the answer, and @"yumdarling" please remove these comments if you think it gets to close to giving it away, but remember that everything isn't exact wording from the question. They want you to read and not just Ctrl-F. If you are so inclined re-read…

I don't see points in my activity log either for the mission shortcuts. Those are 1000 points a piece right? I went back over 2 months and didn't see anything for May, June, or the mini mission from June (WPM). I've enjoyed learning about the products, but 3k points would make it that much more enjoyable.
-
No hint today for Q2 huh? This mission feels more like a test!
-
@"alansmith" Yo thanks for the heads up! I've been waiting for these! I've just ordered, also looking at that hammock, but I think I'll wait on that one! Woo for more dice!
-
Submitted! Thanks! earle.kelley I'm also curious, But I'm guessing we'll just have to wait for an e-mail!
-
Oof, hint took me to a black hole, so I took a shot at today's question... Guess I'm looking at a red X. Completely my own fault, but a reset would be nice since the hint is dead? A man can dream.

Bap bap flow will go bap bap but will flow be read? bap bap flow man, flow
-
I'm a big fan of ctrl-f. I try not to rush these questions to much though, as there is usually some good information!
-
meyer837 That's exactly where I went too! I got burned a couple months back with a "Well it's obviously this answer" so I double check everything now.
