It should work for any file. Try it and let us know.

You'll have to check those devices were it's not displaying correctly. Do a SNMPwalk on them to see if you can get the variable. I assume that the map interface Label is configured correctly.

Release Candidate. But NPM is now up to version 12.1. This is a 8 year old thread.

Bugger. Maybe the node went into warning state due to high CPU utilization. Might have to chalk this one up to "one of those things" if it doesn't happen again.

Unfortunately not. A reboot is required to reset them to zero. But they'll only just start incrementing again until the next reboot. But just report on if the counters go over a certain amount in a certain time frame. At least then you'll know if there are issues.

Just console into the router and use xmodem. It's the last resort when a router has binned itself as it's a very slow process! I did a 3Mb file to a 2950 yesterday, and it took an hour. Anyways here are some instructions on how to use xmodem.…

Unfortunately that would make no difference as the links are still in UP state, it's just that BGP routing has stopped so the link is not routing any traffic.

Mine is located here "C:\SolarWinds Orion Files\SolarWindsSnmpWalk\SnmpWalk.exe"

What happens when you test SNMP on these devices in NPM? Does it pass? Which version of NPM do you have? The post you've replied to is from 5 years ago, a lot has changed since then.

I think if it doesn't show up natively on the left side, then you can't force it to show up. If you're using a custom poller, you will need to display these stats in a widget on one of the pages.

I'm on 11.0.1 still so I can't give you any more details. Sorry.

@"kumar07" sorry for the late reply. I don't follow what you are saying. Can you please show some screen shots?

@"grantallenby" I think it now work again. This is a snip that I control-v'd into the text window. Looks like it works again. Last time I had to control-v it into photos.

Every device is different when it comes to configuring SNMP. If it's a cisco, there are good reference guides on the Cisco website on how to setup SNMP.

I guess you'll have to either upload it via serial or you could try FTP if that's available to you.
-
As mentioned already, I also can't see how you can do this with Solarwinds. But there seem to be a few tools available on the internet that could do this for you where it automatically tests bandwidth and reports on it.

Post up each one of the tabs in your trigger. Maybe there's something in there. Like a suppression. One last thing when you turn on the trigger, do you see the alert pop up in the active alert view of the alert manager? On 15 Sep 2014, at 8:03 pm, "carlton.patterson@matthey.com" <

Sorry I don't know if that will work. Sounds ok but not sure.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes we have 3.4 & 4 on the server.

This may be totally wrong but could someone just have done a test and picked that interface for the test?

Great! Can you please mark this question as answered? Thanks.

I'm not sure what the problem is but it looks to me like a configuration issue on your router. I'm guessing whilst you are running on the cellular link, users at the remote site could still ping their gateway 10.49.147.1 but you pinging it from the other end doesn't work so something on the router is blocking ICMP.…

This is fantastic! Much better than the report writer version I've been using I left out the search function as there's not many nodes in the list. Thanks for sharing!
-
Thanks for your help mate! I appreciate it. I'll go with what you've said. Looks like my main problem was selecting the wrong columns so now it looks much better! And I'll just stick with using the Web-Based reports only.

Just do a quick test of say 3 devices. On one of them make a change so that RTCD downloads a copy of the running config. Now run your backup job and see which device it downloads a copy from. In my case, the devices where the last copy was downloaded by RTCD, will download another copy of the config.

Those credentials are for UCS. Don't fill them out. This is how you add in CLI credentials except point 3 should say click on "Remove nodes from VOIP and Network Quality Manager. Then select the device you want and click on Edit. It will then allow you to set up the credentials.…

I'm not sure if those Aruba switches are fully supported. The stacking definitely works with Cisco switches. Check with support to see if Aruba's work.

I clicked on photos, hit control-v to paste in my snip and voila, here it is.

An update. I ended up running this command (which is listed above to uninstall HF1) Msiexec /package {35799498-505e-47ef-a712-4aa25d1cc09e} /uninstall {1d6bce2d-803b-4787-80fc-375fdc9710f5} /passive It did some stuff and then HF2 was uninstalled. So I then ran the latest installer and now HF2 is installed again and my…
