That 404? It's just security by obfuscation.

We're primarily a MS SQL Server shop, but have a growing number of applications that embed MySQL, Mongo, Mari, Redis, etc.

I may have thrown up in my mouth at Adobe Flash overhaul... :-p

Take a look at this discussion: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/Server-Application-Monitor-SAM/Webhook-option/idi-p/544150. I've been using the POST action to send alerts to OpsGenie, and have also used it to send some to a task board at https://kanbanflow.com.

This is great, but I would suggest simplifying to "Windows PowerShell" or "PowerShell [Core]" instead of listing all of the versions. This partly to clarify the significant difference between WP and P, but also because PowerShell 2 should be strongly discouraged wherever and whenever possible.

Ask and you shall receive! I made a template to monitor Azure AD Connect services and performance counters. You can get it on Thwack Content Exchange, and please comment on the content exchange page if there are different components, counters, or services to monitor. Thanks! Azure AD Connect Monitor

Done, then realized this survey is old.

Thanks, I literally just found that between posting my comment and reading your response!

Have there been any updates, responses, or bug fixes for this?

Nice to see continued development of CMDB functionality in the suite. I would love to take advantage of these features, but am afraid that I never will get to because my organization is locked into a different platform (don't ask) for ITSM.

Here's hoping for an ELI5-flowetry cross-post, adatole

Ahhh, that bit wasn't clear to me. Makes sense now!

Take the first, second, and third words from my response to today's question: "Never again, please." Mostly joking! I wanted to go with what jokerfest chose!

Definitely a tricky question, and to be honest, part of me was still is wondering about the point that @"jokerfest" made above.

This will be amazing. Kudos to you and the community team for having the courage to go through another platform migration after only a year. At the same time, I can only imagine how painful it has been on your side to make you want to do this again so soon!

In that case, you'll most likely need to get them involved if you want to proceed further. The team may have several options, depending on your organization's regulatory, contractual, and in-house security requirements: * Create an account that has limited login rights and does not require MFA. * Create an account with…

I've thought on this a bit as well, and am interested in how others calculate the compute cost with regard to different chipsets: would you determine the cost based on CPU model, generation, etc; the cost based on SPECInt numbers, or just a rough and rounded cost by MHz?

Application consoles that still require Flash and/or Java!

Apparently sentiment goes just as far as humor and music. How many of us grew up watching FH?

The perfect matchup. Hard to say that either would be the wrong choice, and yet The Muppets is easily my first choice!

Ooh, and serial numbers after volume labels!

rob.collins wrote: No spoilers per se, but because I'm highly pedantic I would like to point out that the word "template" isn't used in the correct answers' section of the hint (perhaps the question should refer to "pages" instead?) Whaaat? Another pedantic server and database fixer-upper? I never would have guessed it.…

Repping your FR, but would also suggest that using the API to script discoveries would probably be more efficient in an environment your size.

Well if Orion doesn't already monitor a device...it won't know that there is a device that it should alert on, nor will it know how to alert. It sounds like what your customer might want is a scheduled network discovery job. You can schedule discovery to scan subnets, Active Directory, etc on a periodic basis. You can then…
