Completely understand what you are asking for, Olexandr. Existing voting for this feature can be found here, .

Could not agree with you more. Stay tuned.

While this exact functionality is not currently available in the UI, you could leverage assigned node custom properties to see specific groups of nodes, and then unmanage. Similar functionality could also be achieved using the SDK. See Orion SDK with PowerShell - manage/unmanage multiple nodes for an example of how to do…

The most common use case we found revolved around the need to monitor EC2 instances and the related EBS volumes, so we set out to solve this problem first. We continue to evaluate the need to monitor additional cloud services, like AWS Lambda.

Updates are in progress. Have you signed up for the beta (Virtualization Manager 6.4 - Beta 1 Now Available)?
-
Please see for voting.

I have a few more updates to add to the SAM WWWO page. Stay tuned.

As PM's, we like to see both sides of the conversation (feature request). This can lead to ultimately better refinement of how we solve the problem. From our perspective, a no vote does not necessarily subtract from the number of people that want a feature.

If you are looking to determine if the JMX Bridge Service on the poller has stopped, you will need to create an application template to monitor that and set up an alert to notify you. You can even configure an alert action to restart the service. Let me know if you have any difficulty achieving this.
-
Given that it is a condition of the root cause, it is very relevant. From here, I would suggest opening a support case if you have not already. Please let me know the case number once you have it.
-
Can you post how you have your application template configured?
-
Sorry if I missed it, but were you able to confirm that no certificates in the chain are signed using SHA-512? If that is the case, then this may be a different issue.
-
Were you able to verify that no certificates in the chain are signed using SHA-512?
-
So its confirmed that you will not be able to get that data from ESXi. If SNMP is enabled, by default you should be able to get the data from the ESX host. If you are not, can you post the results of your SNMP walk? If you need to send via message due to confidential data exposure, that works to.
-
Let me review the details of the case again and see what the best option might be.
-
Good point aLTeReGo. I forgot that group had a dynamic query in it.
-
Can you open a support case (you will need to produce diagnostics) and message me the case number?
-
Did you verify the host in question is ESX and not ESXi? I made that mistake initially when I was validating earlier.
-
Thanks for the further input. I will pass this along to support and dev. Let me know if there are any issues with the current configuration.
-
Completely understand. I just wanted to make sure I covered the basis. I'll check internally to see if I can provide you some guidance.
-
You should be getting that in response if you have not already. Feel free to add me via email directly to any communications you have with support.
-
Please forgive the delay in my response. I somehow missed the update. Let me talk with our development team and see what is feasible. It is possible that we will have to enter this as a feature request for future development.
-
Great. I will keep an eye on this. Let me know if you are not getting a timely response.
-
After following the directions, you should be able to see log files, as seen below from my screenshot. If you do not, feel free to re-engage support for further clarification.
-
Thanks. I will look into this a bit further and let you know what I find out.
-
I will look into that, for sure.
-
Thanks. I'll track this internally.

Oh does that mean its not at all possible for ESXi? That is my understanding. And is it possible for you to share snmp config file for one of your ESX 4.1 working box? I can have my VMware admin team to maybe check from their end. Are you unable to retrieve anything via SNMP from a ESX 4.1 host? If SNMP is enabled, that…

If you want to do direct SWIS interaction, you can use SolarWinds Information Service v3.0 Schema Documentation Index to see what is available and incorporate that into the mechanism you are attempting.
-
Let me know how I can help with that.
