Of course. Google is just one of many sources.
-
Yup, no go with IE11 or Chrome 54.0.2840.99.
-
I've always said that the only things that separate an IT Professional from someone who's "good with computers" are the willingness to learn and the ability to use Google.
-
I did answer it and got the red X. Oh well, hopefully they'll go back to transcripts soon.
-
YW. I had to do it. All those full green calendars were just too pretty. Of course, mine may actually be all green. Or red. Or some combination. Or ... or purple.
-
I miss the transcripts. Luckily this one was only a minute and the answer was visible rather than only audible. Meh, really would like to see the transcripts make a return.

DoD peeps:
-
Yeah, today's is pretty in your face.
-
Yeah, I had to remember my username!
-
Nice selections. Both are wonderful!
-
Check the third paragraph in the hint.
-
Honest question here, do you mean to suggest, by your first point, that you or some other member here would refuse to purchase SolarWinds products because of a bad experience participating in the monthly Thwack missions?
-
Wow, don't know how I missed that for this long but I did. Thanks!

The "as a service" model is considered part of the underground economy. I'm not sure whether or not it's mentioned in the video (I only viewed long enough to get the answer) but that's how it's viewed. SaaS is definitely part of the above-ground economy and these M(alware)aaS options are part of the underground. DDoS as a…

I think you (general) sometimes need to do just a bit of logical extrapolation. I agree the wording wasn't as clear as it needed to be but, in this case, I personally felt it was obvious that hardware issues wasn't what they were looking for.
-
Yeah, I have to agree the Only is in an odd place.
-
I dunno, I think I gotta go with 'crew' for Scotty. Indispensable? Sure. Friendly with Kirk? Sure. But I think Spock is more the sidekick. Maybe it's cuz I think one should only have one sidekick at a time.
-
I was responding to a particular statement: "First, would you agree that Solarwinds is paying the staff to do this, either directly or indirectly? That makes this a marketing tool. The purpose of marketing is to create interest in the product that can be translated into sales. Would you also agree alienating the prime…

No problem, glad to help.

spanning-tree bpduguard enable Had a b.r.a.d decide his connection was too slow so he connected to the LAN via both wired and wireless connection ... and then bridged his NICs. Wondered why everything shut off when he did it and why he couldn't get back online.

I think that maybe instead of radio buttons the options should have been checkboxes (select ALL that apply) or we're missing a radio button that would offer the option of choosing more than one response.
-
Yeah, the addition of the transcripts really makes these fun little games even better. I don't watch non-essential videos at work so when it came to video question day I'd have to guess. Now I can use the transcript to find my answer . The staff here really listen to what we've got to say and make real changes to improve…

It's not too bad and there's a lot of awesome information on how to put this stuff together. Adafruit has some awesome guides and forums with very helpful folks. You can even buy most (if not all) of the required parts there - sometimes even in kit form. They give you plans for any required 3D printing as well and, if you…

I tried Voyager but it was just too terrible to continue with. I did, however, watch the last episode. The plan was to watch it with my brother and make fun of it but it actually turned out to be good. Too bad the whole series wasn't like that. And I just didn't like any of the characters. They were all annoying, IMO. DS9…

The old format for this type of question was something like this: What is the default interval for a Pingdom check? (answer field) _____ _____ _____ This indicates a three-word answer. Eliminates confusion as to how many words are expected.
-
Yep, a quick search for key terms yielded the correct answer in seconds.
-
Yup. I know nothing about the show but I found it as the first result of a 3 word search. Didn't even need to click the link, it was in the sample text.
-
From some quick tooling around it seems that this is just a permissions setting. The poll appears to have been created a little bit ago and was, in all likelihood, locked down so curious folks couldn't find it before Wendy and Co wanted them to. They'll fix it when they get in and I'm positive it'll be a quick fix, too.
-
Yeah, a 15 is nearly two 12s. It's crazy. It's also crazy how smooth that stuff is. I was blown away the first time I tried it.

Rick and Morty mission? Or is that too ... gauche?
