I think you (general) sometimes need to do just a bit of logical extrapolation. I agree the wording wasn't as clear as it needed to be but, in this case, I personally felt it was obvious that hardware issues wasn't what they were looking for.

The old format for this type of question was something like this: What is the default interval for a Pingdom check? (answer field) _____ _____ _____ This indicates a three-word answer. Eliminates confusion as to how many words are expected.
