Then we are on the same page, sir. I just wanted to make sure someone else agreed with me before bringing it to the higher ups for review. I was thinking real-time scanning on file servers, and daily for general servers. Bummer is Microsoft is killing forefront for SharePoint, I am currently considering going with ESET for…

I like the single pain of glass solarwinds and am still looking forward to the integration but but Nutanix has a great resource monitoring view.

that I understand. But how does it know there is a device there? Where does it receive this information? I would assume from the switch so that means somewhere it should tell me what the device is. I just don't know where.

Thank you, one final question would be where will the "message" appear? It outputs statistic fine but doesn't display the Search Index is Active anywhere

its in the template section under email settings. You need to go through each template and change the URL to what you want it to be, rather than the generated link.

Yes I am.

I resolved them by doing a bulk edit. I shouldn't have marked this as a question, more like a comment Sorry for wasting your time

Firewall type? You will want to find out if there is an OID for monitoring connections to firewall. Create a Universal Device Poller, assign it to that device, then create thresholds, then create alert when it hits.

They were working on a document that contained exampled of peoples specs and the performance that they experienced. I just have yet to see a final draft so it may have been killed off. You should have a separate box for your NTA DB not the fronted but the database itself.
-
thank you. I had it set to be volume equals fixedfisk instead of fixed disk. oops
-
I did not mention NTA but I do have it installed, so I am going to guess our issues are the same. So, as of right now you have a open ticket with support? Our recovery model is set to full. But from what you said that doesn't really have any impact on this issue.

Thank You!

Yea this worked a while back. Not sure if it still does though! I would imagine nothing has changed.
-
Thanks for this zackm! just setup on new instance of Teams and it worked flawlessly.

I have this a few times a week. Very annoying. The band-aid fix I found is: Restart your Vman appliance.
I'm posting here as getting zero help from Solarwinds (Case 930147) - it is a massive issue for us.
Yes vman support is lacking.

you will want to put ${NodeName} in the subject line of the email or in the body of the email Example: Subject Line: Component ${ComponentName} is ${ComponentStatus} on ${NodeName} Body: Component ${ComponentName} for ${ApplicationName} is ${ComponentStatus} on ${NodeName} ${AlertTriggerTime}
