Device: Cisco 2800 series integrated Service routers End-of-sale: 11/1/2011 End-of-support:10/31/2016 Vender statement: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps5854/eol_c51-631228.html my 2 cents: at least in my case I had to reference cisco for every device before selecting or entering a date anyways, so what…

Singlewire Informacast paging will do what your looking for. basic license comes with call manager 9 I believe but you would need the paid version for the feature your looking for. It has a plugin that would allow you to send out a pre recorded message based on a incoming email.

Use sales@solarwinds.com and I enter our local weather phone number. so the sales people can at least hear the weather in my area

When I first noticed this, I thought to myself who the $%^& knows the asset numbers to all their devices! So far I haven't been able to figure out how to change it though
-
Means the client account is not active. click the client with the little (I), then click the pencil, and on the very top check the active box.
-
If your servers are in different DC\Networks and the users for those buildings\networks access the sites you want to test then yes I would install the probe agent. We have 3 sites. I have 3 netpath probe agents. 1 for each site.

Wish I had a solution but id like to state I have been running into this as well

When I change the creds to my own (SP Admin)

would also be interested in knowing how to accomplish this

The only asset sync you have enabled is from SCCM?
-
ok so it was the maxshells causing the issue. Even though the initial error said session limit 10 was reached, which none of my thresholds were set to 10....When I went in to configure application then clicked test it gave me the real number of shells it had open.

Thanks

You can do it using an action rule: Criteria: Client Email Equals Actions: Modify Ticket then you can set request type and assigned tech. They would all be assigned to the same tech and to the same request type though.
-
I had this issue. My resolution was to find the device that was spamming snmp traps to my poker and stop it from sending the traps.
-
Some sad news today: Email form tech: " The ability to disable sensors or custom thresholds works with the SNMP/WMI polling. However, it does not work for the VMware polling as the pipeline for the VCenter polling is different as far as how the data is processed. hat being said, they stated that a work around for you might…

As stated above I would like to click updates and be brought to a page contatining updates for my software. Also simple Change Log document location would be helpful.
-
Can you please post back what support has to say? I am having a similar issue.

The switch stacks should be monitored. What version NPM are you running?
-
How I would do it: 2 separate alerts setup. One for your Day and one for night. Under trigger condition you set the "Condition must exsist for more then x" Under time of Day tab you specify the schedule for that alert Does that make sense or you want me to go more into it? More info on timing(read Leons portions):…

Thank you, it wasn't showing the extra field for the npm server in IE but showed it when i used chrome

Success: * Connects to sccm 2012 and Orion Failures: * No ability to retrieve devices from active directory * duplicates will be created for any servers you have in SCCM and Orion * No automatic ticket assignment to devices that create Orion alerts

I get this with our monitoring tools as well. I think its because the system owners have an attachment to their systems. You are basically saying their kids aren't as good as yours. So now your challenge will be getting those sys admins to use the new ticketing tool.
-
Are you licensed for that sql server or are you using the license they include with sccm? I thought the license that was include just couldn't host another data besides the sccm data.

Setting to simple recovery mode has stopped our drive from filling up.
-
Ours is also set for nightly backup. I did change it to simple mode.

We just did this, moved DB as well and it went great. I would do a fresh install, we noticed a huge performance gain doing a fresh install of everything on a server 2012 R2 vm.
